I was considering getting the Universe Superion set on Ebay. I was wondering if he's cool or not, and if he's worth it.

Worth it if you plan on getting the FP upgrade kit for him

And he's just fine without it too.

If you can go to a Target and get ROTF Superion, the only difference is that he's in a different box, otherwise the figures are the exact same. That's why I regard the "movie" combiners that are not Devestator as my "Classics" Combiners.

I was kind of talking about the Universe Superion from 2003. The OLD Universe. The one that's made of the little Legends sized guys. Not the ROTF/Classics/Universe 2.0.

This just goes to show why it was a stupid choice to name another line Universe.

I bought mine at KB toys a few years back, (I think it was a store exclusive if memory serves). Its OK as far as combiners go, I use mine with my WST. Same scale for the most part.

How much do they want for it?

Micromaster Superion would've been a better description than Universe Superion. Obviously all fo us are going to jump on the newest guy to have the name.

But, he's awesome. I don't have him but I do have the Defensor and Devestator that came before and I love them both. Buddy of mine has most of the Superion, all but the legs I recall. If you can find a complete one for a decent price, snatch it. But I wouldn't give more than 40 or so.

Well, there's none on Ebay for under $70 but, I'm not going to pay for that. How much should I pay for it?

the KB Exclusive Superion. I bought mine from KB's website back in 2007, for about $25. When combined you have a deluxe size figure. Not too much play value, great paint job though.

I think I ended up getting mine from Big Lots. I'm not sure if they still have any of the micromaster combiners or not now though. I do like it. As with all of the micromaster ones I didn't like that some much of the combiner were extra parts. None of the figures really transform into a limb. It's all added pieces, but considering when they were originally made you almost have to expect that.
