I would love to have a music label soundwave with frenzy and rumble. One change I would want is some storage.

I'd love to get one if it was offered in the US. Only reasons I could see it not happening is the current stand against size-shifting / pro realism, and there already being other Soundwaves in the pipeline, Movie and the recent Animated one.

I'd personally love to see the Classics van concept brought to life. That one looked pretty cool.

You mean this one? Hmm... Looks an awful lot like a current Universe mold.

Anyone else smell a Botcon exclusive?

Frankly, I'd say just pony up and get a ML Soundwave. That's probably the best bet at this point.

I still prefer the updated micro-cassette recorder.

I have always liked Guido's work the best in the comics.

Yea, Guido's Soundwave is awesome. I really hope they use that design if they ever make him for Classics/Universe.

Oh wow! That mini recorder design is awesome. I'd buy 10 of those.

I love the minirecorder look too. I'd buy two, one to open and one to stick in the box. Soundwave's my favorite, so I'd gobble that thing up.

Slightly off-topic here, and maybe it's just me, but I don't know whether to find Animated Soundwave adorable or hideous. I'm stuck. I don't make bitter beer face when I look at it...I just stare at it and keep waiting for it to look like something else. I actually do like some of the animated figures, and again I love Soundwave so picking it up would normally be automatic...but yeah. It seems like a nice attempt to give an homage to the original, while factoring in the needed tweaking for the new animated series...but Shockwave and Megatron look so cool...I don't know, maybe I'm judging it too harshly. When it comes to new Soundwave stuff, I have something in mind like that minicorder drawing, and not that animated thing.

The microcassette recorder Soundwave definitely needs to end up in Universe. That is an awesome design.

Except they already violated that with Classics Megatron.

The problem with ML Soundwave as a release is after all the retooling and modification of the mold (Including making a new master to tinker with, as I suspect Takara will want to keep the original mold intact for future re-releases and whatnot), removing the electronics, altering the backpack, changing the hands to hold the weapons, yet still fold in, fixing any sharp edges or other issues to conform to US child safety laws, etc... they might as well just go with a whole new mold.

Not only with Megatron but with the upcoming Ravage cassette as well.

I like to believe in my own little world that Ravage is a a clue of things to come :D ream:

Gotta respectively disagree with you on that one, I'm open to new incarnations and updates with him but the TFA/Scion version of him makes me cringe something bad.
