These are the 3-D renders of the Universe Roadbuster (repaint of CD Hot Shot) upgrade kit. The head is not a full head. It is only the forehead, visor and faceplate. This is because the head can be a pain to remove but the forehead crest portion is easily removal by unscrewing the back and so this will replace that. Very minimal skills and tools (screwdriver) needed. The rifle resembles G1 and can be held in hand in bot mode and stowed away where the sword goes in alt mode. The cannon has a minicon port hole to attach to the minicon port on the side of the arm in bot mode and can be attached to one of the side ammo box in alt mode. He mentioned that the cannon's barrel slides back to simulate a "firing" action, and you can see a new round through the open breech. Just like the ax he made, the mold will be made using a milling machine so what you see in the pics is what it will look like in real life.

Edit: pics of finished product added.

That's really cool. I already made a new head for Roadbuster months ago, but having those guns as well would be nice.

That's actually pretty cool. Depending on how much it costs, and how available it is, I might actually try and get a set. Not because of more G1 accuracy, but more or less how nice the set will, theoretically, look.

Yes, the kit will be for sale. Natobot says he likely will have the prototype ready for showing sometime this coming week. As for the price point, I'm not sure. It's not going to be $90+ like the Cliffjumper upgrade kit (and KO) is selling for (at least not on the primary market, secondary market is a different story).

Well it cost me 30$ for the kit itself... with 20$ being the price it cost to be shipped from China.

These look great. I just got the 2-pack and I was considering selling Roadbuster or buying one of Sculpt-bots heads that he designed for this figure. I'll wait to see if it's worth the price.

Any word on the color it will come in? I'd imagine trying the find/mix paint to match would be pretty hard and prone to chippage

What's this axe you're talking about? Does Natobot have a website?
