I heard rumors of an upgrade set for Universe Roadbuster so I did a quick google and came across this site.

Apparently it's true! Looks like it's still in the developemental stages though. He's also got an ax for Animated voyager Prime there (still in prototype stage too it seems).

Really? I remember reading something about it somewhere I just didn't remember where. But I don't remember seeing pics or anything. Just that someone mentioned it in passing. Cool nonetheless.

 

First pics I've seen of a tangible object, anyway.

well he's a straight repaint of Cybertron Defense Hot Shot with no remolding without it.

Upgrade kit = a faceplate to put over the old head + guns. Big guns.

 

Cool. If I ever get my hands on that Roadbuster, I'll spring for it. I don't like the original face anywhat.

 

Colour me intrigued. IF it doesn't cost an exorbitant amount (IE more than $50-60). And you don't have to mutilate Roadbusters head to install the new face. I'll bite.

 

I'll be one to tell you guys he is designing the kit to be easily installable so everyone that wants one would be able to get it bashing skills or not. The mask all you do is undo the screw on the back of the head and reconnect with face plate, small gun mounts in the leg holster and the big gun to the minicon peg. Knowing Nato the price probably wont be insane either. Oh and he will be offering a "cheapskate" package that will be facemask and small gun only for those of you who don't want the BFG

 

Consider me interested, but this means I need to get a Roadbuster now.

This is killer. I was all set to try and do this very thing myself as my first ever bashing project... I just hope its affordable.

 

I bought the 2pack just for Roadbuster, so this upgrade kit is a must for me.   Now, I wonder what the Dirge upgrade kit will look like.
