Minor/Repaint: Universe Prime - In metallics

    This is my first attempt with alclad paints and I must say they are fantastic to use.

    pretty simple to use if you are willing to invest the effort in properly maintaining your airbrush and waiting for the base coat to cure! Its like torture!

    the finish is really durable and was sealed with humbrols enamel gloss lacquer.

    I particularly like the chest, seems like the matrix is shining through because of the bright flip paint.

    From the pictures, the colors remind me a lot of Transmetal Optimus Primal, which is a nice touch :)

    to be honest i made the most of the colours they had available, but now you say it yeah it kinda does, thanks man

    haha this was before i discovered low tack masking tape and was too afraid to use the regular stuff because i didn't want the paint to peel off with the tape!
