I just got a Universe Nemesis prime today, and it's a great figure. I just wish that the windows are red instead of blue. Is there anyway to paint them to red but still look translucent?

I think you can paint them to be red.

Edit: Didn't mean, was thinking it for some reason.

Yes. I used Tamiya Clear Red Spraypaint. Here's a pic:

    Hope that helps.

You can't dye clear plastic at all, but you can paint it, or take a marker to it. Red tinted translucent paint might work on it, just as long as you spray it on both sides of the windows. Or you could do pretty much the same but with a nice permanent red maker. Seemed to work for those turning a Classics Optimus Prime into Nemesis Prime. Personally I actually like the windows blue.

Edit: Now, if it was supposed to be a RID Scourge homage, I'd want pink-ish red tinted windows. Then again I personally count Scourge separate from all the Nemesis Prime's, as well, he isn't just an evil Prime repaint.

QFT. No gripes against Scourge and company or anything, but the blue windows just work with the way Hasbro laid out the color scheme on this figure better than red. Complements the paint apps and the plastic the legs were molded from very nicely. That and its just nice to have a LITTLE variety in those black repaint armies.

That's a great job indeed. I prefer blue windows myself, though, because RiD Scourge doesn't have red chest. Even though his windows are, the red chest kills the Scourge look for me :(

I think people make too much of a big deal about the red windows too. It doesn't even matter in robot mode, none of the Scourges/Nemesis Primes have had a red chest aside from the Target Big Convoy repaint

I was disappointed with the windows at first too but now I'm used to them and actually prefer the blue since it blends with the overall color scheme much better than red IMO.

i just wanted to differentiate him and regular Prime besides the black color scheme. Red windows seemed like the best way to do it. Plus, they already painted the eyes red, but used blue light piping. THAT was what bothered me enough to go ahead and change the tint.
