I thought Big Lots were only good for 'Bootleg' Transformers but I was surprised the other day. They don't have a K-Mart in my area so I picked these up. They were $4 each. The only one I didn't pick up was Brimstone. They also had some old legends like Armada Prime and Soundwave for $5.

Ouch. I think you did get burned. In the "Recent Purchases" thread a guy picked them up for $2 yesterday. I do plan on going to see if I can put my hands on them. I didn't get the K-Mart 12 pack.

FYI, if you plan on getting all twelve then it's cheaper to buy it online from K-mart ($24.99 + tax + shipping) or you can buy it for $30 + shipping from me. =D

As far as individual prices, it's not any worse then paying $4-$5 for legend figures but the new Classics Legends are in a class of their own.

$4 per Mini-Con! Wow! Inflation hits everything, doesn't it?

That is a ridiculous price. I just bought the set from kmart.com for $33 shipped. IMO the paintjobs are killer and well worth the price. Even if minicons sometimes look really wierd in robot mode.

I do like the look of them inpackage, but for 4 bucks? Ouch. Hopefully I can get them for cheaper. I like the look of suppresor, Blight and Boltflash.

Be happy. Legends sell for anywhere between $5.99 and $8.99 up here in Canada. You're getting a bargain, trust me.

Bad move, would have sold better in a three pack. Hope they do well retail though.

K-mart had that twelve pack on clearance. $14 was a awesome price.

So I don't really need these. If your interested blight is'nt a terribly good figure for $4 :the others though are pretty solid.

These are minicons which are slightly smaller than legends. Also if you have some unicron trilogy figures their minicon ports will work the same for them.

I've never actually been to the local Big Lots before, but maybe I'll check it out and see if they have these there. Blight and Brimstone are probably the only ones I'd get.

$4 for ONE Mini-Con!? LAME. But hey, I never had intentions on wanting that 12-pack, so this is my only other alternative.

I saw these last week at my Big Lots here in town, though they had a sixth one, Brimstone (green/yellow dragon) as well as those shown above. $4 was indeed steep especially when I saw Universe Cybertron scouts at Family Dollar for the same price.

These are MINI-CONs ... NO WHERE compared with the newest wave of the LEGENDS class of G1 characters like Cosmo, and Wheelie...
$4 each is just outrageous price... but considering the Legends has bumped up from the 3.99 to 4.84 at WM while 4.99 at TRU... everything got priced a little bit higher....

The minicon sets were about 6.99 , so even now inflation makes them to $9 (while deluxe at $12~)... still $3 a piece for these minicons might make sense,... $4 is overpriced.... :lol

btw, I hope these sets won't show up at the TRUs near me... or any TRUs... cuz' they would become ALL STARS ALL time shelfwarmers at 4.99 (if sold at TRU)

Just one question: Are the Big Lot Singles any different than the Minicons in the KMart 12 pack?

Big Lots used to sell RID deluxes for $6-$7. Right now Dollar Stores have Scouts for $5 or less. $4-$5 on repaint Legends...good luck.
