Were any of these sightings reported in News & Rumors? If not, then this is news to many. A search of the Sightings forum doesn't seem to bring up any previous sightings before last Wednesday as well. Before then, they were only found at online retailers (HTS, ToyNK) and in the UK.

If there were previous sightings over the last month (which again I didn't see while doing a quick search), it usually doesn't get detected unless someone posts here.

After finding them on wed, I've found them in
a number of wal-marts in southeast PA.
    Very quick distribution.
    BB looks good.
    Prowl is ok.
    Optimus is disapointing.

I just tried to buy Bumblebee but he came up as "Do Not Sell" in the Wal-Mart computer. I don't really know why. Has anyone else had trouble actually checking out with them?

I already got the 4 from the 2 Target exclusive packs, but the ones in those are not the same. The target bumblebee has gray windows and a silver autobot symbol while the mass release bb has metallic blue-ish windows and a red/white autobot symbol. Optimus at target has metallic flaked blue plastic while the mass release optimus is just a standard blue.

I liked the bb mold enough to grab both, but they wouldn't sell it to me. :(

oddly enough when I used the check out at WM I scanned BB and he did fine, then tried to scan prowl and it came up restricted. Same with Prime. So I just scanned BB two more times and paid and left. Even the check out lady laughed at it.

I ran into the exact same thing (Bumblebee not allowed, Optimus and Prowl fine.) Unfortunately I was not in a situation where I could bypass it and had to leave BB behind.

Kinda odd, the cashier kept throwing out all these "It's not allowed. There's nothing I can do" statements like I was trying to argue or persuade her to sell to me anyway, but I was doing no such thing.

I've been having the same problem at my Wal-mart yesterday. I picked up all three, but could only take home two.

What is that street date for Legends Bumblebee?

Whatever the arbitrary date is that Wal-mart has to allow sale for the Universe Legends figure of Animated Bumblebee. Currently, some WM stores have the Bumblebee figure ring up as "Do Not Sell."

I assume that's because Wal*Mart or Hasbro screwed up, not because Wal*Mart is supposed not to sell Bumblebee before a certain date. I've never heard of a case where toy X and toy Y from a certain wave were allowed to be sold, but toy Z had a "street date".

It could be a store isolated event as well. I've just come from another store and I had no problem purchasing the Legend Bumblebee figure.

Either that, or the mysterious "Do Not Sell" date has passed.

Wal-Mart near me didn't allow Legends BB sale for whatever reason, (at least as of thursday), so I brought an Optimus with me as well and performed a bait-and-switch with the automated checkout lane.

I figure in the off chance there is something wierd with Bumblebee (safety recall or whatever), the toy's better off in my hands than some child's. (Mmmm... rationalization. ;)  )
