    Hey everyone,

I just recieved a Universe Legends Class G2 Megatron..only I'm having a problem. It seems his left knee is connected wrong into his lower leg (the lower leg is placed higher than should, making the leg look shorter and preventing his leg from folding in during transformation - the grey part of his upper leg sticks in further than should, so the entire part can't make the 'turn' anymore)..

Has anybody ever encountered this problem, and is there a way to fix this? Or am I screwed and is the only way to somehow take out the nail and put it back in the way it's supposed to go?

It's only a Legends toy so I doesn't bother me too much, still I'd like to be able to transform him. Thanks!

Still...nobody has encountered a similar problem or knows a good way to fix this?

    Got a Picture?

Do you mean that the pin goes through the upper leg at a higher point?

    Yes, that's exactly what I mean :)

Can't make a photo, but I whipped up a crappy explanation:

I already tried pulling on the leg to see if I could somehow pull it into the right stance - no effect.

I also tried to push out the pin, also no effect.

    :(

That's really weird. How would they get that pin in the wrong spot? I thought those holes were molded into the pieces and then the pin gets crammed into the holes?

    Strange.

On the bad leg, is there another hole below the one where the pin is in the Brown part? (at the same height as in the good leg)
Thinking about it, you might not be able to see it even if there is!

Only way to solve it is to remove the pin anyway. Easiest way to do that is to use a soldering iron (with a small tip!) and heat the end that is sticking out a tiny bit further than the opposite side and then pushing it from the opposite end.
Only try this if you have a steady hand, otherwise he will end up with potentially serious battle damage!!

    Good luck!

I can't see the inside, but I guess there would indeed be another hole in the leg - the one where it's supposed to go through instead.

A soldering iron? Great, of course the one thing I don't have :lol  but I will give this a try! Thanks!

In the meantime, if anyone else has another suggestion, please feel free to share! :)

Paper clip? I've used it before just setting pins in on my g1's not going to be quite as effective as a soldering iron but if you want to try something else first I'd try pushing the pin out with the bent end of a paper clip.

I'd guess the pin is bent or worse the holes are in the wrong spot.

My Universe Sideswipe has the same "feature" on the supercharger jet pack. The pins aren't symetrical and the inlets don't fold down properly.

Personally, I'd say don't mess around with it and get a new one if possilble.
