I'm fearing that his head doesn't swing up all the way...

    Hopefully that can be fixed.

    That transformation is something else....

But it's nice to see that there's some challenge to it.

"Challenge" doesn't describe the half of it... fiddling with him at TFCon it was nuts trying to figure him out.

There's such a thing as TOO many panel pieces... My Classics Sunstreaker/Prowl's 6 or 7 body panels barely line up correctly -- combine this insanely complex mess of sharded panels with Hasbro's current bottom-barrel quality control...and this figure is going to be a nightmare.

He really does look less like a "Classics" and more like the lost prodigal son of the Movie line.

    I'm afraid.

Actually I found Prowl and Sunny to have a minimal amount of excess seams, with Prowl's only being the head transformation, splits on the hood and split down the back of the trunk while Streaker only has that one extra line going down the back of his car mode. And even then they line up near perfectly.

However I will agree that Ironhide looks like he has too many split panels and that it affects his alt mode, and bot mode from the looks of the instructions, in a negative manner. I'll definately have to see better reviews of this guy before I buy him or not.

I'm also sorta disappointed by the way his gun turned out.

Edit: The more time I spend looking at him, the more I think that with a different head he'd match the movie Bot's asthetic perfectly, which is actually disappointing

Cool, really digging his weapon. The only thing that really gets me ...well 2 things is his crotch and his lower legs. He seems to have the same problem as Titanium Soundwave in the crotch and his legs are I dunno to empty looking.

    That's great!

Though what puzzles me, is that Hasbro.com still hasen't uploaded the instructions for Cybertron Wing Saber! Infact, I haven't managed to find the instructions for the figure anywhere! And I'm about to get Movie Wingblade in a day or so.

Well, you'll have the instructions then, won't you? :D

I still don't like it; as has been said, he looks far too complex and is basically a movie extension. This is Ironhide, for cryin' out loud! D'you think he could put up with having such a fancy-pants intricate transformation scheme? I think not... :p
I might get the fig at some point, but he doesn't feel like Ironhide to me. I've got my own ideas for that fella; I need to get my scratchbuilding skills sorted out...

    Pretty cool.

But I think his gun may be a tad too large.
