Even though Hasbro has no plans for making any other IDW-verse characters other than Drift right now, If that were to change I'd like them to make an subline as part of Universe. Here's something I came up with: Wave 1 Deluxe -Drift -Nightbeat -Bludgeon -Wheeljack Voyager -Trailbreaker -Hardhead Ultra -Nova Prime(perfect for a repaint/retool into Nemesis Prime in Wave 2) -Fortress Maximus Most of these are known and popular among the fandom, and have no real counterparts in either Animated or Universe. Anybody else have any ideas for an IDW sideline to Universe?
I'd take an Optimus Prime from the "Heart of Steel" storyline. It was only shown in the sketches at the back of the book, but I thought it looked pretty sweet!
Would love to see IDW Sentinel Prime with Apex Armour from Megatron Origin and Nova Prime of course =D
There is a BW Grimlock toy. Its just a repaint of Dinobot but that is the basis for the IDW BW Grimlock. They just made him bigger in the comic.
I think the best chance we have of seeing Hardhead is as a repaint of CD Red Alert. He's in a size class that hasn't featured any repaints yet, but it seems like a good idea for a store exclusive. I know I'd buy one.
as good of an idea that is, I think they might make Percepter first (animated toy will be far off from then.), since were getting Ultra(?) Leo Prime which, knowing Hasbro is Leobreaker repainted like the legends figure, same may go for percepter.
