Was looking at Hound and was thinking I've seen the vehicle mode somewhere else then it hit me. He's appears to be based on the Jeep Hurricane concept car. Then looking at the concept car it screams Trailbreaker. Starting work on it now. Figured I'd at least post some pics to give a general idea.

Man...you're 100% right!!...its a dead ringer for the Hurricane...and yes, it would make an awesome TB.

Good idea, but I think the Jeep Commander or Hummer H3UT would be a better Trailbreaker. That there would be a nice size-upgrade for Beachcomber; or how about making it into Gears? Gears was always a pretty cool 'bot, ya know? I love that Alternator prerunner version someone did with the Prime mold.

Ever since I got Hound I've been thinking that he would make for a good Trailbreaker repaint/retool. All he'd really need, other than the paint job, would be a head retool, a new gun, and that thing that goes behind his head. I say go for it.

or to make it more different form Hound, Add a cover onto him?

I would have never thought of Hound as TB but it seems like it would look pretty good. I'm still working on my Ironhide to Trailbreaker but I do like the Hound mold better... hmmm
