It was actually pretty cool. Have you ever handled a Bionicle mask? The first run were ABS plastic (I think). It's fairly tough stuff. To be able to slowly mash it with my palm and press it flat was.... interesting....
I would very much appreciate a tutorial on Jolts mod please! Any plans to mod his back kibble so it doesn't suck?
I removed the spoilers on mine so the back kibble can line up and poke over his shoulders nicely, it solves his kibble problem IMO. I always wanted to make his chest peices connect more solid but it seems like more trouble than its worth.
sorry i never got back to you on a mod jolt was real simple i drilled holes on each leg added a screw and then added a piece of black plastic to the inside of each leg. the plastic folds up when transforming and fits very snug.
A bottle of this stuff kills chrome MUCH faster and thoroughly, and usually doesn't damage paint either. It's what I used to strip the chrome off most of my Henkei figures. I picked it up an an auto store.
Looks good. Personally, I don't like Hotshot. I think the figure was overthought. I can't stand the fact that his windshield doesn't stay in place when you try and transform him.
if only i could find a universe hot shot... poor fella was dropped by my little cousin from the roof. she was helping gramps with the gutter trash... after i spent 23 bucks on him
