I like the shade of purple. It almost looks metallic. But the design is a bit of a disappointment. Especially with that back heaviness. Looking forward to seeing how the Henkei version differs from this one.
This toy looks to be a tremendous failure on many levels. What a waste.
It's appropriate that the review shows him posed next to Classics 2-pack Prime and Megs, as they were sort of the weak links of Classics 1. Seems like Galvatron will be the loser of Universe 2.
I am glad to see his scale now as compaired to the titaniums. Was Galvatron listed at HTS before if not he is listed as coming soon along with Acid Storm.
What are those front feet really for in "space cannon" mode?
Is it just me, or is the classics this time around on a competely different level from the first time around?
The first time around, there was not one figure in the line that was horrible. Grimlock, being the worst mold of the line IMO (Excluding the 2-pack and mini-cons) And even that was a good mold compared any other line, but compared to the classics it was standout of being not that good IMO.
Galvatron really is the one universe figure i really cant see me getting, just really struggling to see past his height issues
Nice space cannon mode. But this toy is not as good as I thought it would be.
well some of this stuff is disappointing to hear, but i'll still be getting it and hopefully enjoying it...
I'm glad you guys don't really like him, as that means there will be more on the shelf for me to choose from!
What can I say, I like the toy. And if I need a bigger Galvatron, Energon Galvatron will fill in nicely.
Ahwell I still love him. DO WANT!
Yea, I'm still getting him.
I personally think he looks great and I could use some more tank D-cons.
I'm still not digging the 2.0 Galvatron. I'm going to stick with my Superlink SD-20 General Galvatron in my Classics line-up. So much nicer. I wish the color scheme were closer to the US Energon Leader-class, but it's close enough.
ohh well he's a bit flawed but i'll still pick him up
Well, my point of view hasn't really changed; I remain cautiously optimistic. I always did think the design of the legs was really awkward and never cared too much for the tank mode. Despite that though, I still like it enough to buy it when I get the chance.
Do want, a review of a leaked/stoled factory piece (may very well be a dud) won't sway me.
He'll go nice with Titanium Rodimus and Scourge, and the 25th Anniversary Cyclonous too.
Couldn't agree more. Although we are getting characters we want, it seems like Classics 1 was a labor of love while this is a churn it out MF's!!!! kind of approach. I can't blame them though since they have the movie, universe, and animated all at the same time.
I think someone else said it and was right, this is the best Transformers is EVER going to get so better enjoy it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, I saw Sean Long's review and he was having trouble getting it to stand because of the back-heaviness. And the feet are atrocious....just like Octanes.
At $10 he's still worth picking up, but still pretty disappointing.
I wouldn't say that. Ok, Galvatron's kinda weak, but the rest seem pretty great so far. And it's not like the original Classics were perfect...I think some people are getting a little bit of a rose-tinted glasses effect with Classics 1.0
Still a want.
