Nothing fancy here. I just repainted ol' Chomperface to look more like his computer-generated counterpart. I used metallic acrylics since the bots on Beast Wars had a bit of a shine to them. I also gave him the sword from the 10th Anniversary reissue Dinobot figure. I didn't bother painting the inside of the tail thing red because I don't know if I'll keep it on display with the figure or not. I'm also not quite happy with the bone color I picked. I'll probably revisit it at some point.
looks good, Im still waiting for someone to repaint his beast mode though. I wanna do it, but between work and school, Im not sure when Ill be able to. I really like the use of the metallics you used, they looks awsome!
Awesome job this looks great in show colors... I don't know why Hasbro just did not just do this in his show colors. This is a great mold with show accurate colors it just emphasizes the fact. OMEGAPRIME1983 HeyMickey over at the Allspark painted the beast mode as well the bot mode.
I can see ppl flooding ebay with this style of redo its just so easy and makes the mold like 200% better
That's funny, I could never tell if it was Chopper- or Chomper-. I'd swear I heard Rattrap say it both ways.
Dinobots with blue faces always make me happy. I love the touch-ups on his legs, they look really good against the grey of his raptor mode.
