for those who have this guy, what is the spring loaded neck flap for? it serves no real purpose. and it kinda gets in the way while in bot mode. if this flap were to fold down inside the robot chest the raptor head would fold down more revealing more bot head.
ok again if the flap was able to fold down in robot mode the dino head would fold down more revealing mode robot head.
well i cut off the stupid flap underneeth the dino head, which was spring loaded for some god known why reason, the end result is without the flap the dino head folds in more and reveals more of his robot head. unfortunatly his bot head also shows in dino mode, but only if you look underneeth him. oh his tail stores on his back too
didnt like cutting the flap all the way off so i bought another dinobot. this time i popped out the spring on the flap underneeth the dino head. the end result is the same as cutting it away without the spring you can fold down the flap while transforming and it reveals more of his robot head.
Due to the stupid spring-loaded flap, and the dino head easily popped off from the body, now the left peg on the dino head that pegs onto the shoulder, got a stress mark. Gotta remove that flap..
You want a better looking Dinobot?!? Its does involve the flap, and some trimming, first remove the spring from the neck flap this allows it to move freely, next cut some notches next to his bot head that lets his dinohead sink even farther into his chest. Have done this and it looks AWESOME!!
