Yes, I bought it early (it was an odd week).

As we all know and love (and no doubt own) the bendy deluxe Prime mould I shan't do a reviewey review, I'll just point out what's different from the original release.

This toy is decoed to resemble G1 Prime from what I can see, which is why I let him borrow Encore Prime's gun! This is the Cybertron mold of the toy and as such
    [IMG]
has no gun/minicon of his own, just the remoulded cyber key *sigh*

Differences for this deco are as follows:
Red is lighter and added to the radiator grille/robot chest and forearm parts.
Grey is solid grey not pearly
    Blue is lighter
eyes are light blue a'la cartoon G1 Prime
    Crotch is grey.
    Feet aren't silver (G1 again)
    Wheels are unpainted.
    Rear 'skirt' armour is unpainted
Neck and minicon port are grey.
    Headlights and spolights are gold
Silver Autobot symbol on top of truck grille.

Bad things I've noticed, the head has the tendancy to not sit quite neutral when looking straight ahead like the Nemesis version.
Forearms are a little loose when sliding
    Smokestacks pop off quite easily.

Same as the regular toy otherwise, which isn't surprising! The joints are all nice and tight, so the mould hasn't suffered despite this being the 6th or 7th use of it!

I give the toy 7/10, which would be an 8 or 9 if he came with a black version of Overrun as opposed to the cyber key.
The mould does look very nice in the G1-esque colours.

Let me know if you want any other pics (I do realise I forgot a vehicle mode one! I'll get right on it.)

Looks good. I plan on getting this guy when he comes out to kitbash as my "Universe/Classics" Scourge. Now that I think about it, he could be a part of the 5-pack Sams Club exclusive. If that's the case I'll come up with something different to do.

Nice review. Less paint and more grey seems to be the trend.

I'm digging vehicle mode, looks a lot more solid than Armada Prime with the red arms, that always bugged me a bit.

better one of the chest and head detail, realised I'd shown it before by taking a really dark photo!

Nice repaint, but of a figure that really didn't need to be wheeled out AGAIN. :(

I've got the original Armada version of this mold, but I might spring for the new one. It's a really good version of Prime, and I like the Universe color scheme.

He looks great in vehicle mode. The red grill doesn't look quite right in robot mode though.

Kinda neat. Wonder if this will be "Armada Series" or something else.

I have the yellow and maroon Costco version only, two actually, so I'm excited to get this one that I passed on.

Nope, has to make do with his 'punchy-jiggy' gimmick.

    Nice review!

So why do they call him "bendy Prime?"

I did not start collecting again until the Bay Movie came out. Thinking about picking him up, when does he hit retail?

The toy has decent articulation and posability, at least by Armada-line standards.
