Fantastic!! Despite many opinions against Silverbolt I like him alot. And with this redeco homage and eyes/visor resculpt he is going to make a fantastic Darkwing. I will be picking him up for sure!!
Well hell, doesn't get much more Darkwingy than that. Beautiful figure! I too think this repaint was planned all along, right from the design stages. Those upswept wings on his back were never a Silverbolt trait, but they are spot-on for Darkwing. I think the designers probably looked at two jet-formers with similarly-shaped robot mode bodies (and even similar heads) and saw an opportunity. It really was a stroke of brilliance on their part.
Wow, surprisingly that repaint looks good. Still doesn't warrant a purchase because I already have Silverbolt
looks alright, might get it if im desperate, as i already have Silverbolt. bet my brother would love it (he collects mostly cons, and i have mostly bots)
Yep. I figured if I saw him on sale at some point, I'd get Silverbolt, but now I'm passing on him and going straight for the Darkwing!
Was planning on getting Silverbolt, but screw him, I'm getting Darkwing now! But if this turns out to be an exclusive, I shall be royally pissed.
