Scavenger looks a little weird in robot mode. It's too bad he comes with Bonecrusher. I would definately pick up the Bonecrusher set if only he would have been packaged with one of the other two Constructicons...

Why only get half of the set? Would you only get half of the Seacons, if they were, say, sold in two smaller boxes?

Except the Seacons are an awesome combiner team and all the individual bots are great! And I would gladly give a lung if it meant getting the repainted set released! I just think the RiD repaint toys (despite their cool new colours) are a little weird, and Devastator is just plain ugly. Bonecrusher and High Tower are the only ones I like, and probably the only ones I'd get.

The toys aren't divided up that way, Long Haul comes with Hightower and Scavenger with Bonecrusher.

What I meant to say was that Bonecrusher and Hightower are the only ones I like, so IF they were packaged that way I would get that one set. But since they are packaged the way they are I don't think I'll get either set.

Anyone still (foolishly, in my view anyway) having doubts about the release of Overbite and Repugnus will be happy to know that the December issue of the TCC magazine confirmed its release with the two Constructicon sets at Target. Surprise surprise... or not. The announcement itself isn't actually news, seeing as that issue's been circulating for a month now, but I only got it recently and had to share, considering the earlier discussion.

I didn't mean it as a joke, I was searching for Constructicons because I wanted to see if anyone had posted a comparison shot of the new Classics ones and the originals and this was the first thread I found.

Dude, here are some pics comparing Classics with the original versions of the molds. If you meant compared with the G1 Constructicons, I haven't seen that anyone's done that.

    A 15-month-old thread? Jebus.
