Never liked the wings on Cybertron Soundwave, so I snipped them and the other plane parts off. Then decided his legs were too spindly so I added Energon Swoop's lower legs to give him more bulk (and double-jointed knees!). Paint was mainly around the Swoop legs and Soundwave's face. His new Alt Mode is a USB key reader (cyber-key reader).

Please attach your images to your first post. You can still make them show up full-size by typing in the same IMG tags, just instead of a long link, type in the "attachmentid=" number you will see when you hover your mouse pointer over the attachments links that show up while editing your post. Doing this also allows the forum to display a thumbnail beside your thread in the forum listing.

Very unique take on this figure having him be a Usb reader. It very modern and a sweet take on what he could be in modern day.

    Nice clean minimization job.:thumbs2:

Thanks man. I went and edited your post for you so that your new attachments show up full-sized in your post. :)  If you want to see what I did, you can hit the edit button. Nothing complicated, though, I simply right-clicked each thumbnail one by one and used the pictures icon (the yellow one with a mountain in it) and pasted the link and hit ok. Nice and easy now!

    Thanks guys!

I thought of something else this morning...
if you put songs on your USB sticks he could act
more like an Ipod "dock" and still be a music player.
The hole on top (where his crotch is in robot mode)
    is even a headphone jack!

Saw this last night but no pic were up. Wow, nice job. Some serious creative thinking here. I really like the ALT mode...and it actually gives me an idea (if my PERCEPTION is correct...hint hint hint)

The alt mode reminds me - but not so much in terms of functionality - of the alt mode Soundwave had in the first episode of G1.

That's cool but nigh impossible to recreate for others due to the rarity of Energon Swoop :(

Edit: but you might see that as an advantage :)

great idea, looks really good aswell.

I made a cyb legends sunstorm into rumble a while ago, if i added a cyber key to him he could be a usb for your usb reader,
