Spotted today in Smyths toy store in Jervis St, Dublin City Center.

Odds are most other branches will have them too.

Price was 17 Euro. Two Euro more than Animated Deluxes.

If not spotted at retail in the UK already, odds are they soon will be, and hopefully the rest of Europe soon afterwards.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'll be checking Smyths on the way home! Was going to poke my nose into Argos and grab them there (there's one the floor below me here at work), but now I'll wait to see what the shelf-price is in Smyths before dropping the £12.99 Argos wants. They wouldn't raise it by £3 if they're only going up by 2 Euro... would they...?

    EDIT: Any Tankors?

Didn't see any Tankors... apparently they did have some earlier though.

Going by the fact that they have less shelf space than other deluxes, and the apparently subsidised price, i'm wondering if Smyths are going to be stocking these in smaller amounts than the movie and animated line.

Getting new items from Argos on the day of a catalogue launch is hit and miss, and i doubt they're going to be any cheaper... so if Smyths don't have Tankor on the shelf, they may be willing to have a look in the stockroom for you.

Well, I can hope. :)  Haven't had any trouble snagging items from Argos a few days before catalogue launches in the past, but it's been a good while since I did it last. Last one was... hmmn... geez, could be Alternator Ravage. Well, I wanna get a look at the £££ price on an actual shop shelf before hitting Argos, anyway. Fingers crossed!

Jervis St. If they're in there, odds are you'll find them in all the other branches.

Oh yeah. I live in Ireland again. Should change that. And get back to answering all those emails that I missed over the year.

Ho-ho, SCORE! All three deluxes in Derry Smyths! Alas, they are indeed 12.99... but still bought! Seems to be three Prowls, three Sunstreakers and two Tankors to a case... picked up a set for a friend, so only left a Prowl and a Sunstreak behind. Scant!

I think the price was increased in the US as well. $2 I think, but I can't remember for sure, and I can't find the receipt. Plus, I've not seen any Animated deluxes I need, so I haven't paid attention to their prices either. :p

Just for fun, I tried the Argos codes today. They have listings for Leader Megatron, Bulkhead, Activators, a bunch of other stuff. None in stock yet. They did list 2 Universe deluxes as in stock. Price was €9999.99 I kid you not. I guess that may be the practice to prevent people buying before the launch date.

I was in a different Smyths today, Universe legends repaints, but no deluxes . Picked up Animated Voyager Optimus. They had a couple of those (didn't 2 weeks back when I got Starscream, Bulkhead, Megatron).

Sorry to hear about the new Universe deluxe price tag. That's just too much for this currency.

Right, picked up prowl and sunstreaker. They're fantastic. Also got leader bulkhead and megatron in FP. Does anyone know if other branches have octane? I see a tripple changer hunt in my future.

Was in Smyth's in town today; Plenty of Sunstreaker, Prowl, Tankor to be had.

Also, I saw an employee packing Marvel Transformers Crossovers into the shelves! Looks like they have the complete first wave.

Picked up Streaker and Tankor. At the price Smyth's are charging, I feel like saving some business for the competition. Hopefully they'll be in Forbidden Planet or Toymaster soon enough.

Toymaster have the repaint Universe Voyagers (Blaster and Heavyload). Forbidden Planet have some very competitive pricing on Animated stuff.

This speedy arrival of toys is surely a sign of the end times.

The end times better not hit before Universe Cyclonus or Animated Omega Supreme show up.
