Lame. I hope there is one more figure in there. Maybe something we haven't seen. Doubtful... but maybe.

The second wave of a line never has a large number of new figures. They keep shipping most of wave 1 with 1-2 more figures added.

Yeah... I know. Like Blackarachnia and Ratchet in animated right?

I was just trying to dellude myself.

Still would've preferred a new mold instead of the seeker repaint (not that I won't buy it of course)

We didn't get release dates for some of the Classics 2.0 figures, so I'm assuming those will be Wave 3 (or the equivalent thereof).

    Wave 1: August 2008

    Deluxe Sunstreaker
    Deluxe Prowl
    Deluxe Tankor
    Ultra Powerglide
    Ultra Onslaught

    Wave 2: September 2008

    Deluxe Galvatron
    Deluxe Acid Storm

Wave 3: October 2008? (Actual date unknown)

    Deluxe Sideswipe
    Deluxe Bluestreak/Silverstreak
    Deluxe Ironhide
    Ultra Silverbolt
    Ultra Wing Storm (Powerglide redeco)

Nothing from "Wave 3" had a date on it, while "Wave 1" and "Wave 2" did have release dates. I'd wager that Deluxe Hound and Deluxe Cyclonus would be in "Wave 4" (possibly along with others), though that's just my speculation.

People should probably know that Wingstorm is in correct. The name Hasbro is going with for the Powerglide repaint is Storm Cloud.

Purple, black and a bit of green - like the G1 micromaster of the same name.

    Sorry, my bad.

I checked transformers.com again and they don't seem to have any release dates for the Wave 3 deluxes (though they do confirm that Ironhide, Silverstreak, and Sideswipe are Deluxe Wave 3). October's the most likely date for now.

Interestingly, Silverbolt was listed but Stormcloud was not. Maybe Silverbolt is Ultra Wave 2 and Stormcloud is Ultra Wave 3? Or maybe both are Wave 2 but Stormcloud isn't finalized yet?

It's all good Chris. There are alot of new figures being announced so it's easy to get a name mixed up here and there. It's possible that hasbro wanted to put higher priority on having samples and pics of as many new figures as possible over repaints. Then again showing Storm Cloud may just not have been as big of an issue as showing all the others. Who knows!

But I'd put my money on Silverbolt & Storm Cloud being a wave 3 release in October.
