    Seeing those comparison pics, the only thing I like on the Universe figure over the Henkei figure, is the face. Hasbro left off so many paint apps, especially in bot mode. I'm almost willing to say that I like the original Classics Starscream over this new Universe fig.

    Anyways, thanks for the review and pics, man. Much appreciated.

    Incidentally this is the same reason many people have concern over Cyclonus' face being unpainted.

    Thanks :D . I'll most likely get him, as he does stand out nicely against Skywarp and Thundercracker, though it'll still probably come down to what I think of him in-person. I wouldn't mind another mass release of the conehead mold, that way I don't have to use my current Starscream's wings and tail fins for my Thrust kitbash. Although I could always just get an Acid Storm for that.

    Nice review.

    I still think the original Classics Starscream looks the best out of the three.

    I love the paint apps!
    The only place I think he's lacking are on his boobs...
    Classics Starscream's colour scheme was a complete mess...what was with that yellow? And the terrible grey plastic? I'll be picking this one up!

    I'm with the crowd that prefer this version. After all, you can add detail with markers and what-not, but if there were details you disliked, they were there to stay without drastic measures. My only worry is with mold degradation.

    can you take a few shots of him with the first classics starscream? i wanna see those two together...though, i'm really not liking this one much at all...too white for my taste...and doesnt seem to fit in with the other figures much...guess that saves me ten bucks...

    yeah, but his is at least broken up a little more...and starscream has always been more gray then white...

    The only mold change besides the redeco is the darker cockpit similar to henkei.

    i have 11 out of this mold soon to be 14 with this one and the 2 from takara with lucky we will get lots more!

    wow...i forgot that i'm also gonna get henkei dirge...i need him for my dirge collection...but that's it...do you have all the henkei ones and the american released ones?
