Yeah, I see now. Thanks. It does work better on the G1 toy. Oh well, I'm still excited to have this Universe version eventually... as Kusanagi stated, mine too will be displayed in robot form anyway, so hopefully it doesn't leap out as much... or I'll just have to mod it a bit.

I think I'm definately going to lose the chin strap though. It's a nice G1 cartoon homage, but on this toy it makes his face look really strange IMHO.

Silverstreak. Could just be the painted launchers, but the black red and greyish silver work for me. It just looks aggressive. The Autobots need more of that.

Purchased this figure tonight. Love the vehicle mode, a very slick color scheme. Bot mode is great but do not like the chin strap and the gray shoulders. Not my favorite repaint of this mold. No sticky paint (for mine at least) and no qc issues. A decent figure. Blue/Silverstreak is the repaint to favor.

I'll second that. My original Prowl had the sticky paint problem, as did my first Silverstreak. And my Hound, too. Then there was Animated Soundwave... geeze. Sticky paint is one sticky problem. But, thank GOD for clear coat. :D

Picked Smokescreen up the other day, I'd say he's actually BETTER off than Silver/Bluestreak. All the joints were tight (specifically his feet- my Bluestreak's were pretty loose) and no sticky paint issues.

I just got this guy today, and he looks fantastic. Absolutely no issues with the paint (although, I never had that "sticky paint" issue with either Prowl or Bluestreak). He compliments his other Z brothers nicely. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

My Smokescreen has less issues than my Bluestreak. The paint is solid (I never had the sticky paint issue with either Prowl or Bluestreak) and applied really well. I hadn't noticed the chin portion was painted blue in internet pics, and though it seems small I think it's an awesome nod to the animation model. A new head would have been even better, but it's nice to see they tried :)  Overall I don't have anything against the colors, except I do wiah the robot midsection had been colored black. Minor complaint though. I'm VERY pleased with Smokescreen!

i picked up SS, the one i have is amazingly perfect, only one door came off during the TF.

my prowl i bought originally was so awful (anything that can be wrong with him was) that i took him back and i was forever off the mould, now its redeemed.

The 'neck' still a bit weird, hopefully i can find a nicely made streak as his neck seems less obvious.

i'll admit that this mould is rather like tankor in thats its a bit scruffy compared to say hound or cyclonus (they just seem more polished) but overall hes looking good. It would have been nice if the rear door panel had been used as an abdomen side to fill in the gap...anyway i digress needlessly
