I may just have to wait for Swipes. I can't get Streaker's feet to face forward no matter what I adjust on em. Do you have a side view of him?

 

screw that, I want a P/Cp that is its OWN mold. This one is too much "turn robot around you're done!"

 

Well, I would love a brand-new P/CP mold, but I think it's more realistic to expect one from this mold than an entirely new one. I'll take it however they offer it to us!

 

I know, but if we dont' get a new one, then I won't really care much. I say that because I've been trying to figure out how to make my own that would have not one recognizeable part in common between the two robot modes.

Thank you. That solves it. I swear my Streaker will not do that. They must have changed that piece that holds the foot or something. Someone tell me I'm not crazy!

 

My Sunstreaker can do it. You just need to make sure you have it pulled all the way down.

 

Wow, I'm sorry...I couldn't find the other thread...so I wasn't sure if there was one...but I'm all set now..You already posted a pic of Ironhide and Sunstreaker together...that was the comparison I was looking for...

Thank you for such great reviews on these anticipated characters. I am eagerly awaiting signs of Ironhide in my area...these pics help ease the anticipation lol

 

Also, for anyone planning on doing a Diaclone Streaker/Tiger Track mod, a head swap is CRAZY simple. Same size ball and everything.






Just unscrew the heads and swap 'em. Make sure not to lose any of Sunstreaker's horns/springs!

Gah. Tie? They're both just awesome. If I could ONLY have one? Sunstreaker, for the nostalgia factor. But man, Sideswipe's just as awesome.

Sweet. I think all he needs is another blaster and there you go. Other than that he looks wicked.

 

For the leg swap, did you swap the lower legs by unscrewing them AND the thigh's by popping them off? Because I can see how that would work.

And for anyone else trying, I STILL can't get Sunstreaker to stand up straight - he's still falling over backwards. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

My point exactly. I have two Sunstreakers and tried on both of them. They don't even come close to standing up straight. I'm not crazy!!

 

There has to be some kind of mold difference. Ive got two sunstreakers one painted up as pcp and one regular and neither of them can do it. Im perplexed.

 

I unscrewed the thighs, popped them off, and moved the whole assembly (thighs and lower legs) to the opposite side.

Weird. Even if there's some kind of mold difference on Sideswipe (And I'm not seeing one), that Sunstreaker's an original bought off a retail shelf. And in the tiger track pic, he's standing just fine with the different leg transformation. That's WEIRD.
