I dunno, but I have to take my words about how suck Cyclonus' paint back if...

#1 Henkei Cyclonus got awful amount of chrome. That's a friggin' pass.
#2 I see this Universe Classics 2.0 Cyclonus personally on local retail.

This review by Peaugh just do, well, a magic for me that changed my perspective about Universe Cyclonus. :/

Hard to believe I wouldn't pay $7.77 if I saw this in a store, but I'm def willing to wait longer and pay more for Takara to do this mold justice. The face is really what kills it for me.. it loses all definition without paint.
Just got my first couple of Henkei figures this week and the paint is so win I now know why everyone is so harsh on Hasbro's QC.
But that figure is AMAZING. I'm just gonna wait, is all

My Ti-6 Scourge is gathering dust on display. I wouldn't mind sending him over for a photo-op...

Nightstick looks awesome, but he doesn't really look anything like his G1 self, in my opinion.

His gun mode looks closer to Fracas, Scourge's partner. Fracas and Nightstick had their character models switched in some of the media, so that might explain it. The new version of Nightstick's color scheme doesn't really match either of the originals, however.

I think this is going to be my being necessarily mean post...

Who is this "They" which are contradicting the in-package shots that we've already seen? Is it anything more than just what you hope Hasbro will do, or is there a source you can point to?

Okay, so I never saw much of the Japanese TF series, so do they ever deploy their TM partners that way there? Otherwise, I can't even see the point in asking this question. The original toys all pegged on top (for the single-Targetmasters anyway), and that's how they appeared in "The Rebirth" and the comics. I've even seen a clip of the Japanese animation showing them plugging into the wrist socket, but never underneath.

Since you can see for yourself what the underside of the jet-mode looks like when the robot mode is standing, I'm not seeing why this question was even asked and would like to know why.

owned those series, never happened in the cartoon, in fact Cyclonus and Scourge never became targetmasters in Japan, hence Artfire and Stepper getting their targetmaster partners.

That said I'm really digging how they can attatch how they did in headmasters.

Can that be done on the arm with the closed fist?

What gets me is how there was only like 3 episodes or so where the Targetmasters showed up in Headmasters. Not much different than the US cartoon really, with Rebirth being 3 episodes and what not.

Targetmasters are my favorite of all masters concepts. I guess that's why Rebirth is probably my favorite Transformers episode(s) of all time.

Wish they got some more play in the shows.

Agreed. I hope we get a coupla more Targetmasters. And maybe a headmaster or two.

I'd really like to see a new Scourge w/ Fracas and I really really really want Kup with Recoil.

I'd love to see Hardhead at some point. Especially now that he has gained a little more popularity with IDW.

    Thanks for the review Peaugh!

And with that, Cyclonus moves from a likely buy to a must buy, so thanks!

I may get the Henkei version and the Hasbro version to have as Cyclonus and Armada. (Heh.)

That is one Transformer I'm really looking forward to. I'm getting at least 2, maybe 3. My Nephew loves firetrucks, and he likes my Transformers, so I know he'll love Inferno.

Great to see the Targetmaster fits perfect to size there too. Awesome!

Hey Peaugh, is there anyway to make Nightstick more streamlined in alt mode? The normal transformation juts out of plane in such a strong manner that jet almost loses its silhouette.
