More than a few people seem to dislike the new Universe Cheetor toy. I find this understandable, owning it myself (giant wads of cheetah backpack=fail).

A review I read got me thinking. It stated that all new Cheetor toys had been going further away from 'the magic' of the original-in particular, BM Supreme Cheetor. Looking around, it seems that it also attracted a lot of dislike.

So my question is this: Which is worse (or better): Universe Cheetor, or Supreme Cheetor?

I don't own either, but it still looks like the BM one is the supreme fail. The Universe one at least has some detail to him and looks decent in alt mode.

I would have to say supreme cheetor if only for the novelty of it,I mean he towers over almost every other transformer toy(if you know how to make him stand..I do) and he is more show acurate then any other version.

That being said the univeres toy has a lot more play value for me.

    Yeah i do like them....:p

IMO universe is the worse of the two. At least the supreme figure looks a lot like his cartoon character.

BM Mega Cheetor is the absolute worst incarnation of Cheetor. Almost impossible to pose and a stupid gimmick on top of that. TM2 is pretty close. Actually the only good Cheetor figures are BW Cheetor, TM Cheetor (ugly deco though) and Universe Cheetor.

I agree. Even with his flaws, I still love him. Supreme Cheetor I have mixed feelings on.

I have actually always liked the "night blade slasher" (or whatever he's called) Cheetor.

I like Universe Cheetor. I never owned the BW Supreme version, but I never liked it from the pictures and video reviews I've come across.

As for best Cheetor ever, I think the 6" Titanium is a solid candidate.

Original - puffy cheetah, but slick transformation and robot
TM - solid, but not special
    TM2 - not a big fan
BM Mega - holds some charm in my eyes for some unknown reason. Mediocre though.
BM Night Slash Cheetor - if it weren't for the sword gimmick limiting his mov't he would be best.
BM Supreme - big. I expected more show accuracy. big. Not much else
Universe - best beast mode, robot suffers from eye/mouth gimmick. Fair bot mode. About equal to the original. Each one has one great mode and one awkward one.
