    Cheetor
TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE BEAST WARS Series - MAXIMAL CHEETOR - Product Detail
CHEETOR has always been fast. Other robots move at speeds that seem agonizingly slow to him, as if they were trapped in tar. Unfortunately, a lot of the time he moves a lot faster than he thinks, and finds himself in situations that, in retrospect, could have been avoided. Still, his speed has gotten him out of a lot more jams than it's gotten him into, and when speed isn't enough he can always break out his blades.

Constructed from the cast-off chassis of deactivated DECEPTICON® warriors, CYCLONUS was programmed by UNICRON® to be loyal only to GALVATRON®. Powered by nuclear engines, and a small fragment of his creator's supernatural power, CYCLONUS wields enough might to sterilize the surface of an inhabited world by himself. He never unleashes this power without his commander's leave, however, and he focuses all of his energy on ensuring that GALVATRON® is obeyed without question by those under his command.

Cyclonus has a VERY good bio indeed. I like the deliberate ambiguity Hasbro put in there regarding who he's made from - just how they haven't confirmed/denied anything about who he is.

    Cheetor's is OK as well.

Cheetor's bio mentions "blades." Will he have sword-weapons?

I believe that is in reference to the triple-bladed battle discs that are included and can be held by the toy.

Where can Cyclonus be pre-ordered? I need Deluxe Hound as well. No sites have them and those that do are sold out.

Both are really good bios, imo. Would have been nice to have a reference to Nighstick in Cyclonus's bio, but it's still good as-is.

It may just be me, but I think of Monk whenever I read this part of his bio...

Updated the Cyclonus link at the top of this thread. Seems HTS changed the link between my posting and now.

Hasbro write some cracking character bios these days. It's a pity it won't be available when I get my hands on Henkei Cyclonus. Then again, I never got a character bio anyway, seeing as how the European releases omit them. :(

when i first saw the first images of cyclonus in all his silver and purp;e goodness hasbro had me hooked....but then i see the actual production model and all the paint it is lacking unlike the "Lure" photo they started with.... i am sick and F%#cking tired of $hit like this....why show it one way, then not just modify it a little, but strip almost every redeeming quality it has.... this release version that is missing all the paint and details is not worth the box its packaged in..... back in the 80's we didnt have the technology for the cool poses and stuff like now, but we had quality.... now we have garbage in and garbage out....think im done with transformers, my money could do better spent on a quality product....not on hype that looks good at first then drastically changes

Why does Hasbro insist on giving characters ridiculous powers? If Cyclonus could do this, there'd be no need for Galvatron or even Unicron. One shot and the war is over.

I prefer to keep their powers a little bit closer to real.

Shadow Blade Megs is also available for pre-order with the FALL20 codes.

I wonder why I can't use the code with Dragstrip though? Because it's an exclusive?

Know exactly how you feel. Hasbro Rep (say, oh, Aaron Archer):

"Here is our LOVELY 25th ANNIVERSARY Cyclonus. Wait, can we really show them THAT figure?

I mean, it's actually painted .... and, well. Hey, it's a 25th ANNIVERSARY figure, and we say so! Yeah, they'll buy THAT!"

Habsro actually makes me sick that they would cheapen the brand in the ways that they have and continue to do so.

"But, come on! Green tires on Brawn are GOOD for the ENVIRONMENT!"

    Ugh.

Just wait, it'll end up being like Storm Cloud.

The bio states him as powerful, but he has like 4 strength XD

i actually didn't take that quite as literally ~ like, he couldn't do it with one shot, more like continual bombardment :p  (plus i always kind of assumed the Unicron-powered guys lost some of their 'oomph' after Hot Rod took out the big guy...)
