Another great bio, imo. This is one figure I'm looking forward to getting, and mainly for the RID reference. The pictures also seem to be slightly less photoshoped versions of the first pictures we got of him. Can't wait to see what he looks like in-package, and what, if any, other RID homages are thrown our way in this line.

Just curious, does anybody know what the electronic sounds are for the origional version of this mold. I have a feeling they probably won't come up with anything new for this repaint, though I hope they do.

I still dont know if I want this figure or not, but after alot of thought i have grown used to the un-painted Cyclonus and and the fourth of july prime (leo prime).

Oddley enought I like the different looks that Cyclonus and Leo Prime have. Would more gray/black on Cyclonus, and more white on Leo Prime be cool? Yeah, but I'm perfectly happy with what we are getting. Overload is a nice little surprise too, as I was expecting the Armada figure to be repainted. It may be slightly odd to see another CD Scattershot repaint so soon, but it's ok with me, as I like the camo deco on this one.

Not bad, but do I really need a third version of this mold?

Actually the answer to that is yes, but not of this character. I'dve much preferred this mold in Hun-Grrr colors or even Trypticon like was done with the Legends mold, ah well.

Pressing the button on the back without a key activates a roar, inserting a key (popping out his extra heads) will activate a G1 Transform sound. Pressing the button while the key is in activates a laser blast sound.

Ok, than I'm not so worried. I was thinking he might have had some sort of line as one of his sounds, that wouldn't fit Bruticus if it were to remain unchanged. Now that I know it's just a roar, transforming noise, and a laser blast sound, I'm not worried :D

While I don't own the mold yet, everything I've read points to yes.

In my opinion at least, the addition of these colors and the RID homage makes it :bay

No for cyclonus he is perfect how he is, but leo prime would be cool.

For the most part yes. Unfortunately the shoulders only move up and down, and the fists are to the side when you bend his elbows. Other than that it's a good mold.

I like this mold a lot- big imposing robot, suitable dragon mold. My only complaint is the rather simple transformation- I'd like a little more complexity for my $25- but it does look good in both modes.

Bruticus looks like a great mold indeed. Since I don't have Scourge, I'm tempted.

Although my big question - should I put him with my RiD Scourge, or with my Beast Wars crew?

The more I think about it the more I think I may get him. I just hope a few other bots I want get put up as well so I can use the latest code to save 20% off of them, here's hoping.

thought he was pretty boring an unimpressive personally, especially compared to BW TMII Megatron/Cryoteck

he's certainly not bad, but his transformation is about basic level ~ i hate Beast Transformers who's transformation primarily consists of 'standing upright" and he had surprisingly limited articulation for no real reason; definitely one of the lesser molds from Cybertron.

I agree about the simple transformation, but even with the arm limitations I mentioned earlier he's still an imposing looking bot.

Question--This is the first I've ever seen of this mold. What are the names of the 1st two versions of this mold and what lines are they in?
