The mold's nice. You can hit the button and the blades keep spinning. I like it better then the movie blackout mold. I like blade's color the best out of the three (Evac, Blades, Springer) but passed up on it since I want my protectobots deluxe size. :)

    Oh FYI,

The reason I like blades the best out of the three is that the mold is obviously a rescue chopter. With hidden guns yes, but still a rescue chopter. My GEE-wunness expects more out of springer. =D

Same reason I passed up on TFTM Evac. His colors looked great. Right up there with Premium Blackout. Better then ROTF Whirl, TFTM Blackout or ROTF Grindor but bright rescue colors on the blackout mold seemed wrong. (MH-53 Pave is a combat search and resuce copter but would never had colors that bright)

Yup, the Evac molds is one of the best from Cybertron, in my opinion. I like all three versions of it, but I think Blades is probably the nicest of the trio (though he may be a little bit TOO red.... I do find myself wishing he had the white-and-blue G1 color scheme on his head and chest just to seal the homage).

I still pass on the figure whenever I see it. Old-mold-repainted-Voyagers are for the most part a big boo-urns from me when it comes to the Universe line.

He's probably the best voyager repaint out of the line. The only problem is the sliding leg syndrome, where one of the legs may keep sliding back up whenever you stand him up. I have it on both my Blades and Springer.

Still, he's got some nice gimmicks, and I would highly recommend him.

Buy him, trim two of the rotor blades so they work as swords in 'bot mode, love him.

It's a GREAT mold, and personally I think the Blades deco is the nicest one the mold has received. If you're considering getting it, I say go for it!!!

That's what I did with my Cybertron Evac. Now he's perfect.

Although, I hope Hasbro gives the original design of the toy the plastic treatment.

One of the first TFU figs i bought. and he dwarfs my Blackout.
His bot mode is impressive. I wasn't a huge fan of all that gimmicky, powered up battle modes of the A/E/C lines, but blades is as close to a perfect blend.
No bot kibble visible in alt.
if i could afford it, i would like to have 2 more of this mold.
