I picked up a couple transformers this weekend at yardsales/thrift stores and came across what I assumed was universe blades. I got him home and checked the blades I had mib and it was a totally differnt figure! (actually opened the blades just to compare the two) both are red helicoptors about the same size, but the second one i've never seen before, definatly an autobot. I skipped over most of the cybertron line...was he from that?

    anywho pictures:

(note thats a bootleg inferion not a real g1, but they only charged me a dollar after I dug through all the power ranger junk at the bottom of the box for all the parts)
a comparison shot of the two helicoptors:

The name Quickstrike was used only a third time, for the Beast Machines Maximal "wolf".

I don't think its a wierd name. Helicopters are quick and Quickstrike has like 4 missiles you can launch hence strike. It fits.

I love your yardsale hauls. I need to get my ass up early on a friday or saturday and hit some of those in my area.

I love Energon Quickstrike. I passed on Bulkhead and got him instead.

I still feel like an ass for not buying him at retail when I had the chance.

tigatron was the most for 5$ (they had the wacky red eyed cheetor too, but I already had that variation and I hate the charecter) the little megatron figurine was 1$ and the rest were 1-3$ each, hotspot and rodimus were 1$ each (i think rod is the reissue he's in too good shape to be vintage) got a ton of power ranger and video game junk too (i go thrifting almost every weekend and usualy find something tf related(
