Are these real or some weird KO? I went to TFWiki but couldn't find pictures of Universe Aerialbots that matched these. The seem to be able to join since the packs have combiner kibble

    Real.

    http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Superion_(Universe)

They're a repaint of a toy that was originally released in Japan circa 1992.

They were then repainted in Superion colors, released in the west circa 2006.

    Packaging variant is European.

Yep, they're the micromaster combiners. KB Toys had these as exclusives under the Universe line, along with other micromaster combiners they repainted into Devastator, Defensor etc.

Yep, good stuff. They go great with Micromaster bases, Zone playsets, even Metroplex.

Repaints of the Japanese Sixwing toy, and a faction switch to boot. I guess the Western names make more sense, but the names aren't as quirky. They also released Sixbuild as Devastator and Sixturbo as Defensor.

I believe they did release Sixtrain in the West as well, but I have no idea what he was called. Anyone know?

Another bit of info about this for the OP if he decides to buy it is that it suffers from GPS...the gold bits on the thigs break pretty easily. I've been lucky with mine but I rarely touch it since I know its only a matter of time before it breaks...

These sets were clearanced out of my local KB for 2 bucks a piece. I could only ever find 5 of any set at any given time.
