I will have pics up as soon as i find my camera but i wanted to let you all know that there is a bad production fault with Cyclonus, it has to do with his legs. How they snap together, one leg is fine, but the part that they snap to is duplicated, in other words 2 lefties, so that one leg doesnt fit together right. It really sucks the figure is otherwise perfect!

This may be just bad QC and wont affect the whole run of Cyclonus.

Yeah, I just got my retail version today, and while the parts fit is much, much stiffer than my other Cyclonus, the legs still fit together fine.

However, I have read other notes of people finding leg hardware being both of the same side. I think one person got two right pieces, maybe you can find him/her and arrange a swap? :D

That happened with Universe Silverbolt. Mine came with two left feet so I took it back to exchange for another one and now all is well.

Mine has normal legs but one has a weird stress mark that I can't figure out how happened.

An MP-4 Convoy of mine has a stress mark on one of his hip plates, nowhere near a joint area or sprue connection.

I think those weird stress marks are from being dropped in the factory or something similar.

Yeah mine is also fine, can't say the same for Universe Starscream, I exchanged 2 of them before i got one in which the right wing wasn't so loose it wouldn't stay upright in robot mode.
But I agree that cyclonus is one of the nicest figures in robot mode that I own.

Finally found Cyclonus today, got home and find out he has 2 right knees. Unfortunately he was the only one the store had so I can't get a replacement.:banghead:

Wonder what the hell is going on this year with the factories Hasbro and Takara use. I was informed by Hasbro that essentially, Takara handles the day-to-day manufacturing duties for Hasbro at the factories with contracts with both companies, so it's not as if QC is better or worse at any single company. Heck, both companies have been hit pretty hard with TF quality control issues this year.

I have this problem with my Classics Grimlock. He has 2 right upper arms and shoulders. Yah know you just can't trust a giant toy company sometimes.

Just got a Cyclonus tonight. Mine seems to be fine, though there are a couple small blotches of paint on him and Nightstick. One on one of Cyclonus's wings, and one on Nightstick's head. Both should be easy to get rid of though. Other than that they are pretty much perfect. Joints are nice and tight without being too tight. Only small gripe I can think of is that one of Cyclonus's arm assemblies doesn't click into his torso as tightly as the other, and thus it's a little too easy to unattach to transform back into alt-mode. Now that I have him, I'm actually hoping we somehow get at least one repaint of this guy, if not more. I could see myself buying this mold over and over again like I have the Classics Seeker mold, which I bought another copy of tonight.

This mold is a little too specific to repaint into anything else, so I doubt we will get anything other than this one character with it.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've had no QC issues with him.

Is there a way to see these faults in package or is it obscured by him being in jet mode? I haven't seen him yet but will buy when I do and it would save me a trip back to the store if this is possible.

Man i'm sorry to hear about this issue with the configuration of Cyclonus, but all in all this figure is the absolute rawness and needs a squad of sweeps.
