Hi all. Here's my first Transformers custom. I actually had this done earlier in the week but didn't have time to take pictures because I had to get ready for Comic-con. Anyways, as you can see it's just pretty much a repaint of Classics Prowl. I think he turned out ok, I just wish I could change the mold of the car. Also, I wish I could change the way the legs transformed like someone else here did, but I just don't know how. Other than the repaint, I did smooth out the front of the car to fill in that hole, and I sculpted over Prowl's head make it look like Jazz. I think it's similar enough. I'm not really liking it that much, so I might work on a version 2 and do the things I mentioned above. Hope you likes.

Thanks for the comments. I forgot to mention that I cut out the windows too just so he has the G1 feel, and so that he's a little different from Prowl.

    VERY NICE!!

I've seen a few people try this lately, and my overall feeling was that I would just wait for the inevitable Universe Jazz, or bash it out of another figure. However, you've convinced me that this is the mold to use! Flat out PERFECT!

I like the head re-sculpt especially. It looks better than the Botcon version, and fits the body's proportions better. I'm sold.

Outstanding work!! I have passed this guy up like 5 times because I'm just not into the mold that much. But for some reason, when I see him as Jazz I really want to grab one!! Keep up the great work and welcome aboard!!:thumbs2:

Super good job! I agree with the other guys here, that mold looks amazing as Jazz and the re-sculpted head is really nice. I actually just picked up a second Prowl for this exact reason, but I think I'll give that head mod a try before I order a cast of the botcon one.

    Welcome to the RADs

This is SLAGGIN AWESOME. If hasbro released your design, not only would I buy it, but it SHOULD be the most popular.

    Rock On.

P.S, I don't think there's a better mold than Prowl to use for Jazz anyway.

Thanks again for all the compliments guys. I think I'm going to try this again but next time I'm going to do more sculpting to the front of the hood so that his "chest" is different. I plan to make it more like his old self (like the small universe line).

That looks very nice. I was going to wait to see what Hasbro decides to do, but after looking t your custom, I'm very tempted too try one myself.

In the cartoon Jazz didn't have the door wings, but the G1 toy definitely had it. Jazz also did not have a shoulder mounted missile in the cartoon, but had one in the toy. I don't think Prowl had the shoulder mounted canons on in the cartoon either.
