    Intresting.

Wonder how they'll do it? I wish they did a Bionicle theatrical movie years ago...:(

A Bionicle movie could work well if it's in the right hands. I'm curious to see how they'll pull this off.

I think it'd be cool if they took Hero Factory and made it a bit more gritty and realistic, along the lines of (but hopefully nowhere near as bad as) the Transformers films. It'd be a good contrast with the animated series/shorts they already have.

Bionicle, on the other hand, has three movies that range from decent to surprisingly good (The Legend Reborn was utter crap and you know it), and live-action would not suit it well. Not to mention Lego's idea of a live-action Bionicle would involve kids going into the Bionicle world, which... would kinda suck.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to what comes of this.

Bionicle would not work. 1 reason there is no humans in bionicle. So the cg movies are fine.
Hero factory would work as a group of robots who keep a city safe. I miss bionicle but heck let it go.

The Bionicle movies sucked dick. They were ok at best and nothing more.

Full-length theatrical movie would have worked.

Dissappointing. This won't end well. Hero Factory is a kiddy thing, with thier figures and those godawful mini-series's.

I agree with the OP. A Bionicle movie would be better.

I loved the BIONICLE movies; they're some of my favorites of all time. I'm curious to see how this live-action Hero Factory movie will play out... This may be kept under my watchful eye for a while...

Hmm. Interesing. Wonder how they're going pull that off. I actually liked the Hero Factory series despite its problems. Wish the show's creators make it into a full-fledged series like it was done for Ninjago. Heck, I'm even considering writing fan-fics for Hero Factory which is more or less based on the mini-series itself.

Why did Bionicle never got anything like this? I mean I like Hero Factory's set but there stories aren't as deep or mature as the older Bionicle saga.

I'd love to see Christopher Mintz Plasse (McLovin) as Surge.

Then again, Hero Factory didn't have any humans either. Unless in the movie they go the Cubix or SD Gundam route and have humans and robots live side by side and work together. I'm going to take this news with a grain of salt since there is a good chance of a movie not actually being made and other film companies has a bit of a history of not making any films they are supposedly going to make for years.

Crap, I first read the title as "Harry Potter" instead of Hero Factroy. :lol

Didn't they talk about a live action LEGO minifigure movie or something awhile ago too? What happened to that?

Where does that leave with the other characters like Stormer, Breez, Furno and many others though? Plus, objectively speaking, Bionicle started off rather simple before the Mask of Light and the Metru Nui arcs came around.

It really didn't. The story wasn't as complex, but the world was incredibly fleshed out.

Yeah, no. Try again, pal. Mask of Light was pretty good, and Metru Nui was great. Web of Shadows was half great, half bad. The Legend reborn stank, though, especially since it didn't even wrap up the story.

And it didn't help that they actually are planning on making a sequel for The Legend Reborn until it is pretty much canned at the last minute. I would've liked to see more adventures for Mata Nui, Ackar, Kiina, and a few others.
