Would the satellite have the same force on impact as a speeding comet?

Plus I don't think that it is ironic...

It would be ironic if the satellite was put up there to defend against comets hitting earth and then it eventually fell and hit earth...

It would only be ironic if the satellite was filled with ten thousand spoons.

Comets are a hell of a lot bigger than buses.

Temple 1 for example, is almost 4 miles across,

Also, we are not anal about the Earth being bombarded by asteroids. We are lackadaisical about it. If we were anal, we'd have a hell of a better manned space program and the spaceguard programs would be more adequately funded.

But we are doing something…I though Armageddon was more of a documentary on the asteroid problem...

And they have a movie that stars the video game "Asteroids" where it's actually a secret simulator and a low of luck young adult who isnt accepted into college but is really good at this game and because he's really good at this game he gets secretly recuritied to control a star fighter that blows up rocks and the movie will be called THE LAST STAR FIGHTER!
