THUNDERWING was a familiar thin character in Japan. I will want you to go on the rampage in Japanese TF in future.

Anyone think it's funny that Japanese fans have gotten Straxus and Thunderwing but not Skullgrin(Dauros) and Black Shadow?
Masabon, Any word of related microns to this release of united with targetmasters. I am wondering about the grey pinpoint and green Nightstick shown here in a twitter post from Japan. Yellow Pinpoint is world hobby fair exclusive but nothing on the other two. Grey pinpoint would fit on Rodimus and may look better than what is available now. Twitter
LOL Actually yes I do. Masabon, you continue to be ace. Thank you so much for the pics. Rodimus Prime, I know they were trying to emulate the G1 toy (oh the irony) and it seems that they did achieve that in a away. Does that color scheme and pattern work on a new figure.....ehhhh...not so much. I like the richness of the colors, though , not too fond of the white used for the face and fists. Warpath - Nothing to be said, he's barely different, if not boring compared to the Hasbro release with the military style stencil apps. Thunderwing - The black offers a great contrast., but I'm sure ti has to do with the fact that the other colors are so desaturated to the point of them being barely there. Wipe-Out - Looks nice, a bit plain, but not bad at all. Don't know if he would be worth it as I was one of the lucky few to get Windcharger of HTS last year. I really do like the mold, and again, but I don't know.
I preordered Windcharger and Wipeout at amiami, but I'm unsure if I really want them due to the price. They look really excellent though especially Wipeout. Really wish they'd retire that rodimus mold, I cannot stand it, its so out of date engineering wise and especially aesthetically.
I was kind of hoping Rodimus had a hole in his engine. Also, does he have retooled hands? I have always hated that he has 4mm holed hands
Oh YES Megs has the black camo splotches! I can live without the "MEGATRON RULEZ" sticker, but this is just awesome.
Megatron looks incredible. I always had a soft spot for that mold, so maybe I'll give in and get it. That Windcharger and Wipe-Out set is tempting, but $40 for two scouts...? I'd rather not. Rodimus Prime's deco is overall okay. The clashing reds are sorta off-putting, but the flames are cool, and the remolded engine is rather neat, but I doubt I'd wanna spring for it, especially after just getting the Henkei version. I'm curious to see what it looks like in the Protector armor, though. Everything else just doesn't tickle my fancy. :V
Gaaaahhhhh...! It'll be the only Megatron that I won't buy. I just hate that mold. Its full of mediocrity. Beside, G2 Laser Prime got cool new mold, while all G2 Megs got is this crappy remold? Le sigh.
I think unless you want him for a Modern G2 display it's useful to think of Purple Megatron as "Archforce" who's a Megaplex like character. Same idea as Sadam Hussain or General Montgomery and all the lookalikes they had. then he's either a new Decepticon you can have to hang out with Thunderwing and Co or he's G2 Megatron to go with your Botcon toys. He might even got real nicely with something like a CHMS Black Starscream. --- I think that Warpath might be a lighter colour than the Hasbro one - I would find it very useful to see both Version of the deluxe and both version of the Legends in the same image if anyone can manage that in the not to distant future.
