I got the United version this morning and opening it confirmed what I already knew from pics.....Takara win.

 

I voted for the United one. I just wish reprolabels had made a retro hood sticker for Tracks as well.

On a side note once I get all unpacked and a new work area setup in my new place I'm planning on doing a custom Tracks to make him taller and stretch the hood.

Wow, you would never realize how much nicer that blue is if you don't see them side by side.

The funny thing is that I was really close to getting the G1 labels after I saw the first post with the G1 Labels.

Then I see the pics of the side by side and can never not buy the takara one.

 

i would prob get the rts tracks as i love the repro updated flame decals. for jazz i would get united jazz and the repro stickers for rts jazz and add them to the united jazz. go all out and have the perfect jazz.

 

I'd like the United shiny version with the Reprolabels updated flame hood.

That's what I'm doing, I'll just add the labels for the spoiler and the Martini ones for the doors.

A guy on Shapeways has made a G1 style rifle for RTS/United Jazz and I'm also getting one of those to be the icing on the cake.

For me it just comes down to cost. Would I rather get a really nice tracks for 30+ dollars or would I rather get a decent tracks along with a decent jazz for around 25 dollars. I rather have two characters with ok paint jobs then just one with a really nice one. I guess for me its quantity over quality. I want as many different transformers as I can get!

 

So United Tracks is painted? It looks great but I hate it when they paint on plastic due to scratches and possible paint issues.

 

It ultimately depends on how much you're willing to spend as well as personal tastes. If money is no object and you don't mind or like shiny paint, go for United. If shinyness is off putting or you want a slightly less slavish G1 homage for the flames go for RtS w/Reprolabels.

 

If you can, get both. If you had to choose one. Get United.

I will get Reprolabels for both RTS Jazz and Tracks.

 

United all the way. MUCH nicer looking flame deco than the Reprolables IMHO. Better than having large blue sticker covering the original flames. And it's a VERY nice looking metalic blue!

 

I've got it in hand for the last hour and I can't look away. This is the best blue I've seen on a Transformer, EVER.

Raoul's going to boost this car off me, I'm sure of it.

 

United all the way. Went with alot of the Jap. figures this time around as Henkei was much more impressive, and judging from pics of United Tracks and Jazz, United follows suit.

 

the stickers wear off with time, if United is an option, go for it!

 

United to display in car mode, and RTS to display in Bot mode since the most important sticker (other than the stupid chest rubsign) isn't seen too much in Bot mode. That United Tracks just pops.

With all this goodness coming down the pike, it is gonna be tough to build my POL from BBTS without hitting that "Ship My Loot" button every month.
