    Hi guys,

I hope this is the right forum to ask this question, but I just opened my United Tracks, only to find out he's missing a wing ><

I have a Hasbro version and could use it as a donor, but I've no idea if there's a known safe way to remove the pin.

Can anyone offer any advice so I can avoid knackering another figure?

    Any help much appreciated!

I would recommend going to whoever you purchased this from, and since you already have a pic send it to them as well. They can possibly exchange it for another.

Thanks, I'll go take a look.

I picked it up from Kapow on release, I don't know if they would take back a figure that I've had for 6 months to be honest. I suppose I can email and ask the question.

Thanks for the fast response - I love this place :)

Yeah its worth a shot. There return policy for damaged figures doesn't really specify a time frame for exchange, only for refunds. Plus they still have some in stock.

I checked the date of my pre-order (Jan) so it may well be far too late, but I've emailed Andy anyway to ask for his advice. He's always been very helpful in the past.

Thanks again for your help guys - first TF figure I've ever had an issue with out of the box (well, aside from MP Rodimus, but then we know all about him anyway : )

Just as an update to this, apparently the supplier won't take it back (not Andy's fault I hasten to add) so I'm back to cannibalising the cheaper figure to try and save the expensive one.

Having looked around the board at the QC issues other board members have been having with official products I'm starting to lean towards buying more third party stuff :p

I guess it's a cautionary tale for people who keep stuff in the packet too long - if I get it fixed I'll post some pics and some instructions in case anyone else bumps into the same issue.
