Probably my bias to thoughts I've had on how Rumble/Frenzy could be done, but...

I imagine they're 'clone-like' molds. Similar looking robot modes, but different alt modes -and/or- alt modes that interact/combine with each other.

This is the Takara list. Hasbro won't be putting them in a two pack so far as I'm aware. One will come out, and the recolor will come out a bit down the road.

Sounds cool. Hasbro has always made Rumble figure Red and Frenzy figure Blue, except for the G2 Gobots Frenzy IIRC.

Animated Jetfire & Jetstorm are just retools of each other, so maybe that's the case here. There was also a Target Exclusive pack that had two versions of the Legends Cybertron Starscream figure (Thrust & Ramjet).

This actually makes sense. Hasbro usually doesn't make two-packs of new molds. Although this makes me wonder which one we'd get first.....

I could also imagine the possible Eject/Rewind repaints/retools from whatever they have planned, perhaps somewhere further down the road as an exclusive or something.

Hmmm... so repaints of each other? Then are they deluxes or scouts?

Might make sense to be scouts since we've heard of so many Hasbro deluxes and few scouts. I'm not sure if 2 scouts for voyager pricepoint makes sense for Takara or not though...?

 

That really only leaves Blitzwing, Ultra Magnus, and Cloud Burst (Thunderwing redeco) as the figures I want but aren't announced.
