wheeljack definitely looking better. On a plus note i got my shipping notice for my united WJ from tfsourse earlier. i cant wait

 

Hoping my lot of loot from Captured Prey will ship soon. Order most of the United stuff that I wanted from them but had to wait for these to appear before they will ship. Since TFSource got them, I am hoping CP will soon.

Are Scourge's eyes actually red? (I've seen other pics that had them looking blue/ violet)

 

I can't confirm myself until my BBTS order arrives, but from what I've heard it's red painted over clear blue. This means in light, it will look purple. It might look redder without the piping, but I don't know.

I'm really liking Scourge. I hope the non-metallic plastic will look darker in hand than the first photo set. Something close to the second photo set would be cool.I kind of like the slight difference. It gives him a battle armor look. He will make a good leader of the sweeps when he arrives. I plan to give him my extra nightstick from my Universe Cylconus acting as Armada.

 

Actually, pretty sure Scourge has clear lightpiping that looks blue because of the blue plastic it's surrounded in.

This is correct.

It's a very nice color, see below for a picture.

They are painted clear red over clear colorless plastic. When the light is shining through they look purple, but without light they're a deep red.

Thanks PoweredConvoy. You've erased any doubts I may have had about the metallic paint. It's not bad. I like how they changed up the color scheme a bit. Makes it a bit more interesting. All that aside, the red eyes, red windows, beard color and full wing stripe, and decepticon symbol placement make him feel different enough to separate himself from the sweeps, which is what I wanted.

 

You're welcome. He makes a good leader for the Hasbro versions.

got my wheeljack today and i have to admit he is proper awesome. the metalic green paint actually looks great in hand. i love him, ill get the reprolabels for my generations WJ and keep him in car mode

 

Yeah United Wheeljack is the bomb, the metallic green is beautiful in person (photos don't do it justice).

United is more pearly

Generations is a flatter white, although still whiter than RTS jazz

You sure, they look nearly identical. The Generations one might be ever so slightly tinge more yellow. Even then it's probably my eyes playing tricks on me. They're probably the exact same white.

I'm sure. Got both on my desk right now.

 

I looked at both of them intently when posting this morning. I'm not seeing any of the difference you are. It's not like the paint on Binaltech Meister to the Alternator figure. The 4 United Wheeljacks I have and the 2 Generations ones are exactly the same plastic.
