Maybe a gesture of, y'know, good ol' basic human decency.

Helping the guy up and asking if he's ok is being decent, demanding free money from an Innocent party is kinda scummy.

5 minutes on knees is a long time, they should've offered something even if just a calming free tea in the caff. They're responsible for providing a safe shopping environment and it's just a basic good PR move.

it was safe, it was another customer who hit him looking back at the story. it was an accident and the guilty party had nothing to do with the store it could have happened anywhere. Could they offer tea? sure but that's up to the store you should never demand anything from anyone who is totally innocent.

but my problem isn't with the store being apathetic (Keep in mind we don't actually know what the store did as the story is only a line long) my problem is with a user is implying he passed up an opportunity for free money by not pressuring some innocent store clerk. The idea of trying to capitalise by out right manipulating the best intentions of the staff just strikes me as sad. The idea that they should cave to a demand for cash is not basic human decency it's a sign that compensation culture is getting out of hand.

I hope the payres is ok and I'm not trying to minimise what's happened to him but seeing how others are taking this is concerning.

Hope you're all right bud. :thumb . I agree with @Seeaich, and I really wish some people were more careful.

Thanks chaps. I fall all the time, see the CMT Link in my Sig for why, but that's the second fall in 3 days due to other people's actions :-(

We now return you to your regular TF store sightings.

Anyone seeing the previous RiD Wave - Blastwave & Stormshot - in stores still and if so where? I missed the one case Swindon Orbital Asda got and those 2 were gone from the case I saw in the Kingston Sainsburys.

They were both in Tesco earlier, £8.99 each. Newport, just a jog down the M4 from Swindon, ahem.

One person here has the right to call me 'scummy' and that's because he's seen the shit I have to live in. As for my suggestion, it's a figure of speech, like 'take a pill', meaning do what you do to relax; I was just being inclusive. I realise that you need a new place to put what used to go on IMDB, but this place is for mature adults to discuss the woeful availability of delicious plastic toy joy. YouTube is over there, they still like pointless internet fights about nothing. Back on topic. I may be a prick, but you can't call me scum without upsetting things.
    Love an' hugs

I know I said I'd walk but seeing that reply in context to the previous hooked me back in. It looks like you've taken offence to something and gone in right away for a personal insult or at least it looks that way on the surface. Is it a turn of phrase? Maybe to you and your friends but I don't think I need to tell you it's not going to look that way to 99% of people, I've never heard it but then even if I did I'd never use it. maybe just state from the get go to just relax if that's what you mean.

I dont really understand the rest of the comment the first line (I think) you're saying that one other user has a free pass to call you scummy. ok, not really sure how to take that. After that you list of a few websites that have more trollish posting but then say we've all mellow adults here. Cool I guess but from my perspective you've just told me to suck a dick so I hope you understand that the contrast between the two statements is a bit confusing and contradictory (hence quoting them). Then you call your self out as a prick (your words not mine). I dont think you really need to do that as it's only going to reinforce any negative option that I've got already. Maybe your trying to use that as a shield to say that what ever I do say in reply will just wash over you and your happy in your current state but maybe that's overthinking it.

As for the Scummy line. Ok I totally see how you've gotten that. I wasn't trying to call you personally scummy just the action. I feel like in my follow up posts I do an ok job of saying why I don't like "compensation culture". I dont know you, you dont know me. I think we've both happy to keep it that way. But if it helps keep the board I'm willing to say sorry first even if you're not interested.

Did they have Soundwave, Blurr or Skywarp there? Risca has nothing.

Not sure what you mean but I'm really sure at this point we've wasted enough energy on this. But Yeah I totally went with that lazy comment before I edited it over the follow 30 mins.It was a knee jerk reaction to your insult and your reply. I hope you read the full thread and maybe understand what I was trying to say.

Asda into Weston-Super-Mare had two each of TR Gnaw and Kickback along with three of Bumblebee, priced at £9.00, nothing else from Titans Return though.

anyone spotted blurr/soundwave/skywarp etc in the southend/basildon area?

ASDA Shoebury has restocked the Stormshot/Blastwave selection and has tonnes of Gnaw/Bee/Kickback, but no Blurr/Soundwave etc :(
