Generations Voyager Cases

2013 wave 1: 3 x Soundwave 1 x Soundblaster
2013 wave 2: 3 x Grimlock 1 x Blaster

These are the 2 Fall of Cybertron Voyager cases. Neither has been released in the UK or Grey Imported as yet. When TRU got a FoC Voyager case it was a Euro unique one of 2 x Soundwave 2 x Grimlock

2013 wave 3: 2 x Springer 2 x Blitzwing
2013 wave 4: 2 x Sandstorm 1 x Springer 1 x Blitzwing

These two cases haven't been seen in the UK yet, but the toy in them have in later waves.

2013 wave 4r2: 1 x Grimlock 1 x Soundwave 1 x Blaster 1 x Springer

Not seen in the UK.

2013 wave 4r3: 2 x Sandstorm 1 x Blitzwing 1 x Blaster

B&M have had this case, the Entertainer have it on their website. If you've seen Sandstorm or Blitzwing this is where they came from.

2013 wave 4r3(4?): 1 x Grimlock 1 x Soundblaster 1 x Blaster 1 x Springer

Oddly numbered the same as the case above, but I know EE are reliable so I'm assuming theirs is the wave 4 revision 3 case and this is wave 4 revision 4. Unless you can show me otherwise....

Can't find a case listing for this anywhere. I assume it must exist because...

2013 wave 4r6: 1 x Sandstorm 1 x Springer 1 x Blitzwing 1 x Grimlock

Not seen in UK.

2014 wave 1: 2 x Rhinox 1 x Doubledealer 1 x Sandstorm
2014 wave 2: 2 x Whirl 1 x Doubledealer 1 x Springer

There are TWO reported sighting of Doubledealer in the UK plus I've got a friend who thinks he's seen one. If he is in the country he came from one of these two cases. As yet nobody's got a photo in store and nobody reported what else the store had so we don't know for certain what case he's been seen in, though I'm now reasonably certain there are some out there.

2014 wave 2r2: 2 x Rhinox 2x Whirl

A pretty common B&M case. If you've seen Rhinox it was probably this case.

2014 wave 2r3: 2 x Roadbuster 1 x Skybyte 1 x Springer

Another common B&M case

2014 wave 3: 2 x Roadbuster 2 x Skybyte

Seen in B&M, TRU & The Entertainer. The most common case but see caveat bellow!

2014 wave 4: 2 x Brainstorm 1 x Roadbuster 1 x Whirl

Some sightings. The one people are looking for Brainstorms. Picture proof here for anyone who doubts Brainstorm's UK availability

If anyone can provide a link to a Generations Voyager case not listed here then LMK!

Middlesbrough Entertainer has AoE Galvatron and Hound, no sign of Slog or Helidrift though

 

Gah, do I get you to pick up a Hound for me at £23, or do I wait and see if those grey imports turn up at B&M? Agonising...

Has anyone seen wave 2 of the RID mini-cons anywhere (Sandsting, Velocirazor et al)?

Went to TRU Leicester this afternoon. Virtually nothing interesting in the ransacked (or what resembled it) tf section. 3 x generations Whirl, tons of 1 step changers (including grey RID Sideswipe) and loads of RID legions (picked up Ultra Magnus for £5).

 

Wowzers, that's more doubledealers...may have to check my B&Ms next week.

Today at Huddersfield B&M Home Bargains, right in front of the 2 x Whirls that have been there goodness knows how long. He went home with me though.

Also stuck my head in Wilko's and, if the Hudds. branch is any indication, their Gen. Voyagers could be coming down to £13 each (I didn't take a shelf pic of their single Whirl & shelf pricing as proof before we could confirm by further community sightings in case it was store-specific.

EDIT: Er, should I post this in the News Thread. Is this really the first evidenced sighting?

 

Hmm, I could go for a Doubledealer. I have Brainstorms, Whirls, Roadbusters, and a Sandstorm at my local. Anyone fancy doing a trade?

 

Luckily (or otherwise) I've had DD for a while now and apart from the deco and head it's still basically the crappy Blitzwing mould that made buying that Voyager set with Springer only a 50% mind-blower back in May 2013.

As I rarely get over to the Leytonstone one I'm not expecting to see one.

Now for soundblaster!

 

Just been to the large B&M in Bolton and they had about 8-10 Brainstoms so it looks like he may become the new shelf warmer, they also had quite a few Jetfires in and one, lonely Springer.

I really wanted a Blitzwing though as I've not seen him anywhere except the entertainer and I refuse to pay £23 for him

 

Finally found a Brainstorm at Norris Green B&M after saying they didn't have it!

Their was 2 behind the bloody AOE Dinobot Mashers! The one hiding them their knows what hes doing haha! Well I got 1 and I put the other on front.

 

CW restock into TRU Cribbs Causeway, Wave 3 Deluxes (£11.49) and Wave 4 Legends (£7.49).

 

I took the chance to visit Cribbs Causeway on Sunday, and was too early to go to TRU...so I stalled in ASDA for a while.
Combiner Wars Wave 3 deluxes and Legends (Rodimus and co.) and some assorted RiD stuff...unimpressive. I went to TRU and got in slightly before opening time (I noticed the entire security team sitting far outside having a tea break) and found a group of Wave 3 Deluxes, new RiD stock, like Gold Armour Grimlock Warrior class, and some Generations Voyagers:Two Roadbusters and a Sky-Byte.
No CW Voyagers....
B&M was a bit of a let down. One Whirl, Two Sky-Bytes, and about 6 Roadbusters(!)...no more Jetfires.
So Cribbs aint looking good at the moment. On a side note, I popped into Forbidden Planet in Bristol a while ago, only to find VIPER, who was supposedly cancelled...any other sightings of Viper?

 

Visited Local Bristol B&M stores in Bedminster and Bridlington yesterday. Only Roadbusters to be had in B'Minster but there was a great selection of voyagers in the Brislington home store including Brainstorm, FOC Blaster, FOC Grimlock, Springer, and Soundwave. I picked up the Soundwave. No Double Dealers sighted though.

 

First sighting of Soundwave and Grimlock, Payres?

Ah. Meanwhile, I've not found any Soundwave, Soundblaster or Doubledealers anywhere. And then they turn up in Bristol after I don't work there anymore.
