the guy that runs a comic shop in my town used to work for yamato and was telling me how some of the stuff works and you would be amazed at how we are even lucky enough to get some of this stuff in the states. (im sure its a little different for BBTS but probably not to far from this) they call and say this is what we are producing 2 months from now its thursday i need your order by friday click you make your order and you get your shippment 4 months after you ordered. it sounded crazy as hell, (i know this because i wanted him to get me some of the united stuff which he did) but it really wasnt worth his time and i only saved shipping, im gonna be seeking another source for mine but im not gonna cancel my preorder till i get them in hand (but i am also not paying a rediculous premium either)
It's rare but BBTS does occasionally have to cancel pre-orders. Not really their fault when the manufacturers/suppliers don't come through and don't give them any accurate information. I do wish they'd send emails out every month about delayed/questionably fulfulled items though.
Kapow were supposedly expecting more in June. I don't know if they're coming from the first run, of if there's second run due. And i've said this a few times before...but other than name recognition, there's not a whole heck of a lot going for these two.
