So..... why are they more money than the other ones? I was hoping there'd be something extra with them to justify the price hike.

Yeah, I was wondering about their higher price tag too....only thing I can see is a larger box....that the two-scout packs usually come in. But....why?

First look at Axalon's package too? My bad...I thought that was already news. But I guess that was just for the official images of him.

 

Someone translate those bios, PLEASE!

They have to justify the price some how.

 

Back when these went up for pre-order, the first thing that crossed my mind was that these were large deluxes. As we all know, deluxes are smaller nowadays. Even now, you can look at your old Cybertron figures and see the size discrepancy between now and then.

Anyways, that's the only real reason I could think of for the higher prices.

 

AXALON!   I need this now, but does that surprise anyone?  

 

Surprised they didn't do the Beasts in Transmetal colors, or at the very least Primal (what with the hoverboard and all).

 

The only thing i had hope for Primal was these fingers molded in any other color than red!

Axalon is pretty Meh, Unicron no real changes from the Cybertron figure

Im still not sure about Megatron, i dont have the 10th anniversary version and this one is tempting... but seems the purple could have been lighter...

not interested in anything but Beast Megs (and that's 50-50) and Axalon.

 

like mentioned, a chance for transmetal colors could have been cool.

but so weird about the packaging.

 

So those ARE deluxes? I had thought so but then I saw them in boxes, and the prices are high... ugh, I wanted to get Primal and Unicron for sure, and maybe the other two, but those prices on deluxes are a bit much...

 

These voyagers are gonna run for $60 apiece?

 

Why is Takara charging so darn much for Prime and Megatron? As others have said, the mold is the same size as a deluxe. And the first time it was packages it was on a card! not a box. Yes the 10th Aniv. was in a box but they added the silly beast war ships in the box. This version dose not have the little ships.
I would only think of buying these if they were the max $30 a peace.

 

What did Axalon do go just get a card? The other figures in the same size class are laughing at him from their boxes.

 

Yup, they're deluxes. At least they were back in 2005 or 2006 when they were released. Still not worth the price, though. There is a lot of air in those boxes....
