I gave up on that, since they haven't done anything for Victorion. I do want articulated fingers like the PE sets for them both... maybe a hack will be discovered, like the KFC Ultra Magnus hands being made to work for the other combiners, but with smaller, similar sized hands.

can we just stop pretending that "hurrr robotiddie" is more characterization than the idw incarnations of these molds?

 

No defending anyone else's opinion on this matter, but that sounds an awefully lot like a loaded question to me.

Seems like characterization is relative. Some only see the "robotiddie" in this comic and ignore the character's other traits. Others are able to recognize those other traits as personality. I think that if one is to ask a question, one must be first willing to be on the same page as the potential recipient of said question.

 

i want someone to make a photoshop. take a pic of gooscream from machinima's CW, then either photoshop lunaclub's head in the goo, or have her yell "WHAT DID YOU DO, MACHINIMA?!?!?" (thats the only thing that disappointed me from the show, btw)

 

Honestly, I had mixed feelings on this set upon its first reveal, but after reading the comic and reveling in the disgust/sexism/sakamoto is a pervert stuff, I now find myself wanting it. Unfortunately, I've only just now been able to repair my savings account after having bought TR Fort Max and now I Computron is out to get my money. I fear that by the time I finish putting the money back in my account after getting Computron, Megatronia will only be available on Ebay for two to three times her original price... Then again, I could take out enough to buy both of them, but then it'd take months to get the money back in. The woes of barely having the money to support my hobby on such a large scale.

 

Considering Victorion's price drop, you might be able to afford it.

 

That, and she's not due out till end of January.

Already bought Victorion with money from my birthday a few months back. So it's not so much about which one I want as it is that I want both.

Saw these on fakebusker83's Shapeways page... sent him a message to see if they can be upsized slightly and the ends turned to 5mm posts.



Would want these to be smaller than the PE sets but slightly larger than the stock Victorion hands. I think they could work out well and give her hands that actually look like her boxart. Plus what's good for Victorion will be for Megatronia as well

I had absolutely no interest in this before I read the comic. I love the characterization of a female megatron built from spare parts meant for megatron that no male bot can resist. It was goofy, but I am honestly excited for this toy now.

 

I also noticed that Trickdiamond and Flowspade feet become Megatronia's high heels.:

i just want to say, if you follow the correct order of the comics, and take into consideration that unicron's head and another combiner team is coming........the autobots are having a REALLY bad day.......

Alright, so then Computron shouldn't affect my ability to purchase Megatronia. However, depending on when Liokaiser is released, it could create issues. Ah well, I'll just cross that bridge when I get there, I guess.

 

LioKaiser is in November. If there's a UW set, it hasn't been announced, shown, or anything. However, given the popularity of Victory, it's highly unlikely that Takara is going to not do one while Hasbro does.
