No I know the one you mean I just don't think I need to remove THAT pin. Looking at the Hasbro version I think you can remove the pin lower down and then just swap the windscreen. Like this:

Just remove the entire assembly from that black panel, remove the windscreen and pop the front forks off the mushroom peg and then you can leave that pin you hot popped alone.

    Yes, totally get you now.

    Great diagram btw!

...do you have an automatic pin punch?

No, I use either a pin vice or a pin press, which is like a drill press only without the drill. Sometimes I DO wish I had an automatic pin punch but only sometimes as there are some pins that are quite stubborn but usually I prefer to push pins out more slowly so keep from damaging the plastic.

Oh and thank you! I wanted to illustrate what I meant better and that was the best way I could think to do it, lol.

Just be very careful with the windshield pin, it's some very fragile/clear plastic surrounding that area.

Yup! That's why I prefer to push the pins slowly. I won't use the pin press with this pin though. That's for color molded plastics and that springy nylon stuff. I'd probably use that for trying to push out the pin on the front axle to swap the black rims on black forks for the silver rim on the black forks.

If I manage to get around to buying an Afterbreaker I shall do that. So far I like the set as is, but I'll always be up for added options. BTW, how well does the PE-11 rifle fit into the Takara HFG/s in hand mode?

That might be a bit tough for me!

I adore this set so much. I thought Bruticus was good but Computron is the one that makes good on everything Combiner Wars/Unite Warriors ever promised. Loved writing a review on it as it gave me chance to play with each of the figures for a lot longer :D

Totally agreed. The PE chest gives this guy the finishing touch but Takara really went all out for this team.
Hopefully they'll top that effort for Liokaiser.

Thank you - really appreciate you saying that :)

Yeah the PE chest looks great but with the changes Takara made he looks great anyway. It's the best combiner from the series so far, imo, as the amount of effort and love that's gone into it puts it at the top.

Hoping for great things from a Liokaiser, I mean that's the perfect set of characters for Takara :)

UW Computron is the last remaining thing that I still don't get from this year, and your pics really make it hard!
    Good job Hulk :)

I think I may have an issue with my strafe. his left arm, below the mushroom peg juts out further than the right arm.

does anyone else have this issue, and can u fix it?

I can't believe Takara removed the scramble city feature on these guys since 400+ posts and internet searches this guy only has one configuration.

    ?

They didn't remove the Scramble City gimmick, every deluxe bot can still be either a leg or an arm and the universal connection joints are the same on each. It’s just that people don't really bother putting a cartoon-style Computron in configurations that differ from the cartoon.

How would they remove the Scramble City feature on these guys?

    They've still got the feature.
