I want this guy but I can't bring myself to drop that coin on it

 

On preorder at BBTS for $35, I pulled the trigger myself.

It's well worth the $35.00. Seriously. One of the best CHUG figures available. I love his cassette weapon.

 

That price made me finally order this guy, too. But waiting for it to drop into my PoL is getting to be unbearable! It's the last thing holding it up!!!

 

I got him for 50 when he came it and he was worth every penny,but for 35 thats a steal and hes perfect CHUG Blaster.

 

So, how tall is this guy? I have seen him on sale and I'm a bit interested since I need a proper Blaster for my Lost Light display.

 

I don't own him, but from what I understand he is about 6.7'' or there abouts.

 

Standing straight, 16 - 16.5 cm. Thus probably too small for a Lost Light display.

Actually, I think he's too small for any kind of display, unless you have a collection in which normal large TF's (e.g. seekers, optimus/megatron, Sound-/shockwave, Blaster) are deluxe to small voyager size, with scout sized carbots.

He's an awesome figure, in so many ways the perfect Blaster for me, and I love the gun transforming into a cassete. But, I really wish he was taller. Classics Voyager Optimus Size would've been great, but alas...

I too will also add that SoundMixer is the best CHUG Blaster to date IMHO. I was really hesitant to purchase him when he first came out due to his flat feet and height. But after seeing him in person really changed my mind, I had to get him. I paid 55$ for him and he was definitely worth the money for me at the time. But hot damn $35 is an epic deal

I just wished UT had done a soundwave in the same fashion.

 

He is a solid figure. Fits in with classics pretty well, and would go well next to Music Label Soundwave.

$35 is a good price for him. He isn't a $55 figure IMHO.

 

He's definitely NOT Deluxe size. He's about as tall as Classics Prime. He's old Voyager size.

I've been eyeing this guy for the same purpose, with a bit of modding perhaps. Where is he on sale?

 

If he's a small Voyager then he's actually perfect in terms of scale for any display.

He's perfect size for MY display...just wish I had a better option for a head.

 

Just got him in today (I know, I'm way behind the times) and he is perfect. Now all I need is Takara Legends Kup (to replace the oh-so disapointing Generations version) and my '86 movie bots will be complete!
