I noticed on mine and all of the others I've seen on the Web, that in Radio mode, the front panels are on wrong.
The parts the fold around the legs with the pins holding them together. If you look at the Tech Card, and box artwork, you will see what I mean. I had to remove 4 pins, (2 on ea side ) of the panels and swap the panels around and also turn them to not be up-side down. It's easy to do, but you need a tiny flat head screw driver that you may fix eye glasses with to start the pins to pop out and then you can pull them out.

This is what we got, panels on wrong sides and up-side down.

Here is Box Art, Tech Card art shown as it should be. They also dropped the Red G1 looking paint on the front panels. I have fixed all of this ,panels & paint and will post a pic later today.

Thanks, yes it drove me nuts seeing that and took a chance to fix it without damage. I also removed some paint and painted some other areas to make it look like artwork and G1.

    My fixed Soundmixer

Here is my Soundmixer with some paint removed and then new paint as seen in prototype G1 style.
I removed the silver paint on the small circles on his arms, also the red paint on each side on the top front inside area where the three red lines are painted. Next removed the red painted triangles on the leg panels and then painted the red areas as seen on box and card artwork.

Absolutely love this guy! That weapon storage gimmick is inspired! Hope they do more tapes for him. In fact wasn't there a Ramhorn in the prototype photos?

Those are some excellent pics Squall42080.

Blaster was and still is one of my all time favorite figures, not just Transformers. I really love everything I've seen about this figure in from all the pictures as well as the various reviews for him that I've watched and I really want to get him.

I do have a question for you guys what are the odds of Takara/Hasbro actually releasing an actual Masterpiece version of Blaster? Because I really want a new super possible and well sculpted version of Blaster, but I don't have a lot of extra cash and I don't want to spend the $70 on SoundMixer and then here comes the announcement of an actual Masterpiece Blaster.

Question, do the panels being on wrong adversely affect transformation from one mode to another?

He's not in scale with Masterpiece, he's in scale with CHUG(ugh I hate that term). That's exactly why I wanted it.
It's VERY doubtful that Hasbro will ever make a Blaster this nice in CHUG scale.

As for Has/Tak making a MP Blaster, I think they will eventually.

Not at all, but they're incredibly easy to swap. Pressure, by hand, is just enough force to push the pins out of their slots. I was able to push on the one end with a screwdriver, while pulling the other end (gently, I might add) with a pair of nail clippers (I didn't have my pliers handy) and did it all in less than a half hour.

Decided to get this guy after watching the review on RocketPunchArmy. I like it, the only issues are that it is a bit loose and the tabs at the front of the tape deck are too tight.

I am up in the air / might get this guy
might go with Ktc MP , not a scale guy so much
and not a MP guy so I guess it depends on over all price & quality
    I love me my blasters!

I was just messing around with this guy today and decided my lazy ass would do the fix noted in the last couple pages. However, I can't for the life of me get the pin in the flap closer to the leg to come out enough to get a hold of. The two smaller flaps with the red triangles on them I got no problem. But those other flaps connected to the leg? Pfft.. I struggled for about 20 mins and gave up.

Just got this guy in today since TFSource had him on their Black Friday special. Pretty cool figure, joints are a little loose but not too bad. It's definitely a nice Blaster. Unfortunately though, mine came without either gun. :/
