Oh, I know many will love PotP Predaking. My issue is that HasTak should do better. I'm not expecting to go full monty, but a little more effort on their part would go a looooong way.

 

Think about this if hastak gives us perfect transformers the brand would be discontinued. Instead they give us items that are just a little better than the last one. To keep us buying

 

They're not even a little better, though. They're getting worse. Classics Voyager Optimus > Combiner Wars Optimus > Titans Return Voyager Optimus.

I said it in another thread but my feeling is that 3rd party companies are made up of fans who love what they do.

Hasbro/Takara is made up of people who make toys for a living but might not be passionate about their jobs. It might just be a job for them.

Also 3rd party figures tend to be less mass produced so that can also affect the overall end product. I'm just happy we all have more options and that this forum has exposed me to that.

I don't even really care for Predaking as a character or the robots and I'm still in love with this set. The bots are ok but combined, it's just amazing looking. Definitely worth the going price these days.

 

Really cool seeing all the enthusiasm for this after all these years. I was hardcore dedicated to this set. THIS was even the reason why I went to become an actual member instead of a lurker as I have for years!       I sold it off a few years ago for the MP hype...

Annnd I reordered this set off of BBTS along with Legends Slugslinger, Scourge & Pounce & Wingspan and Potp Rippersnapper!

This will look AMAZING with all the recent TR/Legends season 3 & Headmasters anime decepticons!
Also have Legends Sixshot, Triggerhappy, Misfire & Weirdwolf on the way from Agabyss.com   can't wait!!!
And this will look glorious next to the new PotP Abominus!

 

And yeah, PotP Predaking looks terrible but all the reason for me to buy this set again      

 

Now funny to think back in 2013 was the 3rd party Predaking war with this, MMC's Feral Rex and THC's Ares.
Now I await for next round MP style!  
I'd LOVE to see Zeta do Studio Ox Predaking which is what Warlord here is originally based on

There are plenty of bigger options for that. You can get some ko Predakings for very cheap. Let us Chug collectors have something here and there too. Tired of most 3rd party items being for mp nowadays.
